The process is via the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. There are two key things: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary, in the field Promo code. After you click Pay now, you won’t be able to add it.

1. Copy the code and click Use discountIn our article, copy the coupon and click the button GET DISCOUNT. The link will take you directly to the product in the AliExpress app.
2. Use Add to cart instead of Buy nowOn the product card, scroll down and tap Add to cart. Don’t use the Buy now button—you’ll skip the cart, and later you won’t have anywhere to enter the coupon. Before that, double-check the variant: the color, the version, and whether it ships from an EU warehouse.
3. Through the cart, go to CheckoutA pop-up will appear: Added to cart! — tap Check it out in it. If it disappeared, open the cart with the icon at the bottom right. In the cart, check the product and quantity, then click the red Checkout. Only the items marked with the red ring will be applied.
4. Enter your address and card, then look for Promo codeIn the order summary, first fill in the delivery address and payment card at the top. Below them there’s a line Promo code — expand it with the arrow on the right.

   

5. Paste the code and confirm ApplyIn the field Promo code paste the copied code and click the black Apply. The code is case-sensitive and must not contain spaces.

   

6. Check the savings and payIn the Summary expand the line Saved — you’ll see the applied coupon there as AliExpress coupons/codes. Only when Total is really lower, click Pay now.

   

Apply the discount already at the order summary. After you click Pay now, you can no longer add a coupon. If Apply shows an error, the code has either expired, doesn’t apply to your items, or the order doesn’t meet the minimum amount.

Two riding modes in one box

The board itself has classic 6.5-inch wheels and you ride it by leaning. The go-kart seat attaches with two straps and features an adjustable frame length, so it can be set to your child’s height. It’s controlled with two levers — pushing one forward and the other backward makes the kart turn almost in place.

The seat has non-slip handles and a swiveling front wheel that keeps the construction stable. Switching between the „board” and the „go-kart” takes just a few seconds, so your kid doesn’t have to wait for an adult. You can choose from four color options — black, blue, pink, and graphite „hiphop” versions.

Two 150 W motors and a 25,2 V battery

Power is provided by two 150 W motors, for a total of 300 W, plus a battery with voltage 25.2 V and capacity 4.0 Ah. The manufacturer targets kids aged 6 to 14 years, which is also reflected in the limited speed — and for a kids’ hoverboard, that’s more of an advantage than a drawback.

At top speed, you should be careful: the offer title lists 15 km/h, while the picture from the manufacturer shows 12 km/h. The difference likely depends on whether kids’ mode is enabled. Either way, it’s more like a brisk walking pace to a slow jog — not a race machine.

Bluetooth speaker, LED lights, and safety features

The XP9 has a built-in Bluetooth speaker, so the child can play music from a phone during the ride, along with a mobile app. LED lights are in the wheels and along the edges of the board and change colors — in practice, that’s the main reason kids want these boards, and it also improves visibility at dusk.

For safety features, the manufacturer lists a kids’ mode with limited speed, an intelligent sensor, an audio alert when the speed limit is exceeded, and impact damping. Battery and status indicators are directly on the board, so you don’t have to open the app just to see how much power is left. However, no electronics can replace a helmet and protective gear — and with kids, that’s even more important.
