Enough power
For TV boxes, the RAM capacity is especially important for the smoothest system performance. Inside you’ll find up to 4 GB DDR3 RAM and 64 GB of internal storage for data. Compared to a Xiaomi Mi TV Box, it’s a much more powerful box.
The whole box runs on a 64-bit Cortex-A53 chipset. It’s supported by a graphics chip Mali-450 with frequencies up to 750 MHz. It’s based on the Android 9.0/10 operating system with custom modifications.
Display and remote
The H96 MAX RK3318 TV box has a square shape and fairly compact dimensions. There’s a nice colorful finish on top, plus a display on the front showing current info like the time and device status.
For easier control, the package naturally includes a remote control. You can also enable the cursor mode, which you then control using the sensor on the remote.
4K support at 60 fps
This small box can even handle 4K resolution at 60 fps. For this, it uses H.265 / H.264 formats for the fastest possible compression. It supports many formats like avi, mkv, mov, iso or mpeg, so you can play your own movies too.
WiFi, Bluetooth and many ports
To use apps like YouTube, Spotify or a browser, you need an internet connection. That’s provided by WiFi, but it also has an Ethernet port for a more stable cable connection.
Bluetooth 4.0 is an alternative to remote control. You can connect a mouse or keyboard to it and control the TV Box more conveniently.
Of course, you can’t miss the HDMI port, micro SD card slot, it also includes an AV port, 1x USB 2.0 and 1x USB 3.0.
