- Display 1.5″ dual-layer OLED, brightness up to 5 500 nits
- Continuous HRV and blood pressure monitoring
- Works with CGM glucose monitor
- Battery life 7 days with AOD on, in China from 1 600 yuan
A few months ago, Honor launched the Watch 6 with up to 35 days of battery life, and now it has added the Honor Watch 6 Pro model, which focuses on health and the display. It has a dual-layer OLED, continuously measures heart rate variability, and works with a glucose monitor. The trade-off is shorter battery life.
Dual-layer OLED with brightness of 5 500 nits
The dual-layer OLED display has a 1.5″ diagonal and a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels. It reaches a full-screen brightness of 4 500 nits, and when only part of the screen is lit, it can hit up to 5 500 nits. The display also responds to wet fingers, so you can wear the watch on your wrist even in the pool.

The case is made of stainless steel and measures 46,3 × 46,3 × 11,6 mm. Some versions have dual-tone ceramic that Honor bakes directly onto the metal at 1 400 °C, and according to the manufacturer, it’s therefore much more durable than the paint on other versions. There are five color and strap combinations to choose from.
HRV, blood pressure monitoring, and CGM connectivity
You’ll mainly buy the Pro version for the health features. The watch monitors heart rate variability (HRV) all day—revealing your stress and recovery levels—and it also adds a second-generation blood pressure measurement. According to GSMArena, the watch also connects with a CGM glucose monitor, a blood sugar sensor that diabetics wear on the body continuously.
The watch can also detect an impact during an accident and, if it stops detecting your pulse, it will trigger an alarm to help in case of cardiac arrest. Compared to the Watch 5 Pro, the key new features are HRV measurement, CGM connectivity, and alerts for cardiac arrest.
Dual-frequency GPS and battery life up to 18 days
Location is determined by Honor Polaris with dual-frequency GNSS and three antennas, so the signal should hold up even between tall buildings. With always-on location enabled, the watch lasts 21 hours. New sports include trail running, badminton, and football.

The battery capacity is 500 mAh, and with always-on display (AOD) it lasts 7 days. With all health features, it lasts 4 days, and in power-saving mode up to 18 days. The base Watch 6 with a 980 mAh battery, meanwhile, lasts up to 35 days.

In China, the watches are already available to order. The steel version costs 1 600 yuan (about 210 €), and the ceramic version will run you 1 800 yuan (roughly 235 €).
The basic Honor Watch 6 is also sold in Europe, and you can buy it from an EU warehouse. Honor hasn’t said anything yet about a global Watch 6 Pro version.
