It also definitely stands out with what is currently the fastest charging in the world (implemented in the smartphone) with a crazy 90 W, 144 Hz AMOLED display, a pop-up camera on the side, and a very unconventional design for the back.
Serious gaming design
Right away you can tell what this smartphone is built for. On the back, the Y-letter stands out, which is very well known from other Legion products, and it’s highlighted with LED backlighting. The Legion Phone Duel is available in red and blue.
On the side you’ll find a truly unusual pop-up front camera. It’s there to capture players while gaming and thus provide a better experience for online streaming. We told you about it a few days ago.
Incredible performance
What was expected also came true. The Lenovo Legion Duel comes with a new processor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus. The improved former flagship processor is built to handle even more, which is also shown by going beyond the 3 GHz threshold per core.
It also comes in a version with 16 GB RAM of type LPDDR5, and a huge 512 GB UFS 3.1 storage. In an AnTuTu test, it scored an unbelievable 64 8871 points.
144 Hz AMOLED display and 90 W charging
Among the major highlights is definitely the 144 Hz AMOLED display, which is a top-tier panel in its class, especially in terms of refresh rate. The touch sampling rate is 240 Hz, the display has a 6.59″, FHD+ diagonal, no notch, very thin bezels, and it looks premium.
The surprise is extremely fast 90 W charging, which was hardly mentioned at all in the rumors. The battery also has a large capacity, up to 5000 mAh, and thanks to 90 W Turbo Power charging, you’ll get 50% in less than 10 minutes! 100% will be reached in 30 minutes.
However, the battery is split into two halves, and the smartphone also includes 2x USB-C ports. This is likely a marketing move where the manufacturer adds up the charging power of both ports. The charging adapter includes two USB-C ports.
Camera setup
On the back, there are only two sensors placed almost in the middle of the device in an unconventional arrangement. The main sensor is 64 MPx and is joined by a wide-angle 16 MPx sensor. The mentioned front pop-up sensor has 20 MPx and is mainly intended for streaming games.
Wi-Fi 6 and Android 10
Advanced connectivity is also included, led by Wi-Fi 6, 5G and NFC, Bluetooth 5.0 and dual SIM. Of course, there’s liquid cooling, an in-display fingerprint sensor, capacitive gaming buttons, and a connection for an external display.
Runs on Android 10 with ZUI 12 or Legion OS onboard.
The price tag is unbelievable
The Lenovo Legion Phone Duel was launched only in mainland China so far. These configurations are available, and the base price is really great:

We don’t know the exact date it will appear here yet, but we’ll have to expect a higher price tag.
