Are you shopping on AliExpress for the first time?

The process is via the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. There are two key things: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary, in the field Promo code. After you click Pay now, you won’t be able to add it.

1. Copy the code and click Use discountIn our article, copy the coupon and click the button GET DISCOUNT. The link will take you directly to the product in the AliExpress app.
2. Use Add to cart instead of Buy nowOn the product card, scroll down and tap Add to cart. Don’t use the Buy now button—you’ll skip the cart, and later you won’t have anywhere to enter the coupon. Before that, double-check the variant: the color, the version, and whether it ships from an EU warehouse.
3. Through the cart, go to CheckoutA pop-up will appear: Added to cart! — tap Check it out in it. If it disappeared, open the cart with the icon at the bottom right. In the cart, check the product and quantity, then click the red Checkout. Only the items marked with the red ring will be applied.
4. Enter your address and card, then look for Promo codeIn the order summary, first fill in the delivery address and payment card at the top. Below them there’s a line Promo code — expand it with the arrow on the right.

5. Paste the code and confirm ApplyIn the field Promo code paste the copied code and click the black Apply. The code is case-sensitive and must not contain spaces.

6. Check the savings and payIn the Summary expand the line Saved — you’ll see the applied coupon there as AliExpress coupons/codes. Only when Total is really lower, click Pay now.

Apply the discount already at the order summary. After you click Pay now, you can no longer add a coupon. If Apply shows an error, the code has either expired, doesn’t apply to your items, or the order doesn’t meet the minimum amount.

The Store Coupon also goes in the same field. — a coupon from the seller itself, which isn’t always available and changes from day to day. AliExpress coupons can’t be combined, so try both and go with the one that gives you more. Coins are added automatically.

Ultra short throw projection for small spaces

The biggest advantage of the HY450 model is the ultra short throw ratio of 0.6:1. That means you can project a large image even from a short distance. At about 0.9 m, you’ll get a diagonal of around 75″, at 1.2 m up to 100″, and at 2.2 m you can easily reach 150″. It’s ideal for apartments and smaller living rooms.

The projector features an automatic Auto Offset system that adjusts the image position without needing manual setup. In practice, that means less fiddling with where to place the projector and faster movie start-up.

Picture quality and brightness 900 ANSI

Magcubic HY450 uses native Full HD resolution 1920 × 1080 px and supports decoding for 4K and 8K content. With brightness of 900 ANSI and a contrast ratio up to 26000:1, the picture looks very decent even in a slightly lit room—but of course you’ll get the best experience in the evening or in a darkened room.

One-button electronic focusing can bring the image into focus in about 2 seconds. There’s also an automatic horizontal keystone correction that helps keep the image straight even if the placement is slightly less than perfect.

Performance and hardware with Allwinner H716

The system runs on a Allwinner H716 processor with a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 architecture and a Mali-G31 GPU. It’s paired with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage, which is more than enough for streaming apps, YouTube, Netflix, or playing videos from USB.

Built-in Android 11 lets you install apps directly from App Store, and a big plus is voice control via Google Assistant using the included remote.

WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 and screen mirroring

The projector supports modern WiFi 6, making streaming more stable and faster. Bluetooth 5.4 lets you connect wireless headphones, a soundbar, or speakers.

Screen mirroring is supported via AirPlay, Miracast, and DLNA, so you can easily share content from Android, iOS, and Windows devices.

Sound and connectivity

Magcubic HY450 features built-in two 5W HiFi stereo speakers, which are more than enough for everyday movie and series watching. If you want even better sound, simply connect an external speaker via Bluetooth or 3.5 mm audio output.

The ports include HDMI, USB, an audio jack, and a power connector. In the box you get a remote control, a power cable, and a manual.
