Source: androidcentral.com Baseus EnerGeek GX11 is a power bank with a capacity of 20 000 mAh and 67 W output, with a built-in 4G modem, so you can turn it into a Wi-Fi hotspot for up to ten devices. You don’t insert a SIM card because it connects by itself via a virtual SIM to the strongest local network in more than 150 countries, including Slovakia. In the box, you also get 20 GB of data for half a year. During a Halloween sale on the European e-shop, you can buy it for 66 €, while in Germany it was originally sold for 149,99 €.
Internet for the chat, in the caravan, and in the car
The power bank is sold directly by the official Baseus European store and ships from the EU warehouse, so you don’t pay customs duty or VAT extra, and shipping is free for this amount. Delivery to Slovakia takes 14 to 20 working days, according to the store.

TIPExpress delivery from a European warehouse without customs duty and VAT.
This product will be delivered to you express from a local warehouse in Europe. Delivery from EU warehouses usually takes 2–10 days and is handled by a courier. When delivered, you don’t pay any extra fees—no customs duty or VAT.
How to get internet without a SIM card
GX11 doesn’t have a SIM card slot, so you can’t insert a card from a Slovak operator into it. Instead, it uses CloudSIM technology, which automatically connects to the strongest local network in the country where you are at the moment. You register and activate the device in the Baseus MiFi app, and you can immediately use the 20 GB of data included—valid for half a year. Once you run out, you can top up additional data in the app in bundles by volume or by days or months. For example, 10 GB for 30 days for the USA there, according to the manufacturer, costs 29 dollars (approximately 26 €).
Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Hungary are on the list of supported countries, but for example Spain is missing from the manufacturer’s European list—so check the country in the app before you travel. Buyers from Hungary praise the device, but consider the add-on data expensive for local conditions and would welcome the option to insert their own SIM. In the EU, phone roaming works, so GX11 is most worth it on trips outside the EU. It’s also useful when you want to connect a laptop or tablet and don’t want to drain your phone battery with a hotspot.
Wi-Fi for up to ten devices
The hotspot can handle up to ten devices at once, which is enough for the whole family at the cottage or for a team on a business trip. According to the manufacturer, download speeds reach up to 150 Mb/s and upload up to 50 Mb/s, but real speeds depend on local coverage. Wi-Fi works on two bands and is secured with WPA3 encryption.
You turn on Wi-Fi with a button on the side, and the display shows the battery status, the connection, and the strength of the 4G signal. According to Baseus, the hotspot lasts up to 114 hours on one charge, but only when little data is used through it and you’re not charging anything else with it.
Power bank with 67 W—even for a laptop
Besides internet, the GX11 is a regular power bank with a 20 000 mAh capacity that, according to the manufacturer, charges an iPhone 17 Pro about 2.7 times. Through USB-C it delivers up to 67 W, so it can also charge a smaller laptop. It has three ports, along with a removable braided USB-C cable 25 cm long that also serves as a strap.
However, when you plug all three ports in at the same time, the performance drops significantly—so charge your laptop separately. With a weight of around 450 g and dimensions of roughly 12 × 5 × 5 cm, it fits in a bag or the glove compartment in a car.
When it’s worth it
GX11 is worth it for people who travel often outside the EU, have a chat/cottage or a caravan without fixed internet, or need to connect a laptop and tablet without a SIM. If you only travel around Europe and your phone hotspot is enough, it’s better to get a standard power bank—like in our Baseus Halloween sale overview.
A buyer from Romania praises it as the ideal travel companion that can handle everything at once. On Baseus’s European e-shop, the power bank currently has four ratings—each with a full number of stars.
