Almost invisible
The mini IP camera is so small that you hardly notice it. Its dimensions are just 3.5 x 2.5 cm. That makes it easy to hide almost anywhere.
The camera features a built-in magnet for mounting. You can attach it to any magnetic surface. The second option is to use the included stand with an adjustable head of 360°.
Recording
The mini IP camera can record videos in HD quality, with a resolution of 1080 pixels at 25 fps. It has a wide-angle lens that allows recording at up to a 150° viewing angle. Under the cover there are 6 IR LED diodes, enabling recording at night or in low light. The LED diodes don’t light up, so they won’t give away the camera. The night visual range is up to 16 ft.
You can watch the video in real time on a smartphone, PC, tablet, or laptop. This is possible by directly connecting the camera to a WiFi network. Then you can watch the recording from anywhere. The second option is to connect directly to the camera’s hotspot, so you don’t need data. In that case, the connection range is 10 m indoors and 30 – 50 m outdoors.
Practical use
Thanks to the built-in battery, you can attach the camera anywhere if needed and start recording. The battery lasts for powering the camera for about 1 hour of continuous recording.
Charging then takes 1 – 3 hours. During charging, however, the camera can continue recording, so you don’t have to worry about being blind.
Basic setup of the camera base 24 hours of recording. However, you can set a sports mode, where it starts recording when it detects sports activity. You can also set a timer from when to when the camera should record.
The mini IP camera also has a motion detector. If an unwanted person is detected, it sends an alert directly to your smartphone app. The recording is saved to a memory card, which unfortunately is not included.
So if you’re looking for a practical and almost invisible camera with sufficient resolution, this one might be just right for you.
