The company OnePlus officially introduces a new series of smart TVs under the OnePlus TV label. It’s available as part of pre-orders right now, but the number of its features still remains a mystery.

New OnePlus TV series

The Chinese manufacturer OnePlus is preparing the launch of a completely new series of smart TVs called OnePlus TV. Sales of this TV should kick off in the Indian market on July 2, and it should be a lineup with an affordable retail price. A few days before the market launch, the company even started accepting pre-orders.

Customers who are genuinely interested in the upcoming TV model OnePlus, can pre-order this product through the Amazon.in website. There’s also a benefit of an extended warranty. If customers reserve the model by July 2, the price of the two-year extended warranty drops from 3000 to 1000 INR.

There will also be cashback at the level of 1000 INR to the Amazon Pay account, which effectively means getting back the amount paid for the aforementioned extended warranty. However, the company stated a condition that the user must complete the ordering process before 5. August.

There’s nothing to be ashamed of in the equipment

The available TVs will not only offer a low retail price, but also a modern design. You can look forward to minimal bezels around the display and a so-called “cinematic” display with a 93% color gamut of DCI-P3. Support for Dolby Vision is also interesting, and the screen should cover up to 95% of the front panel.

OnePlus also claims that the prices of the new models will start below 20 000 INR (236 € / 264 USD). This is a very low price compared to the OnePlus TV Q1 model, which was launched in India during the course of last year. For now, however, we don’t know any further details about the technical specs of the upcoming TVs.

Considering previous leaks of information, the manufacturer is prepared to launch two TV models for India. They should be the 32″ and 43″ versions, because those were certified by Bluetooth SIG before the official presentation, along with their remote controls.

There have also been speculations that available OnePlus-branded TVs will share the same hardware as the recently introduced smart TV models from Realme. This could be plausible especially thanks to the fact that both of these subsidiary brands are part of a larger parent company called BBK Electronics.
