“I’ve had it for a week. Bought it from eu.nubia. It arrived on the second try — the first unit was stolen by someone from the shipping company on the way, but after I provided proof, the shop sent me the second unit for free via DHL Express. Delivery took 5 days from the EU warehouse. Very professional handling by the webshop. So far I haven’t found any issues on the phone. Global version 12-256GB, Android 14 and the MyOS skin, but no extra junk and no Chinese apps. Pure Android. Everything works with Google, and payments too, notifications are no problem, Android Auto works, great display, amazing photos, communication with Amazfit watches—finally I have notifications on them. A bit heavier. So far, I couldn’t install only one app due to incompatibility with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. After years of using Xiaomi phones and constantly tinkering with various shortcomings, I made the switch and I don’t regret it at all. The bootloader can’t be unlocked and the phone can’t be rooted. 6,8-inch AMOLED display and front UDC camera
The Nubia Z60 Ultra from ZTE is truly top-tier when it comes to displays. This 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2480 × 1116 pixels offers high display quality with 400 ppi and the ability to show up to 1.07 billion colors.
The BOE Q9+ display type is equipped with 2160 Hz PWM dimming technology, which reduces eye fatigue during long-term use, and has a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. This model also uses the 5th-generation Under Display Camera (UDC) technology that integrates the front camera directly under the display, so it doesn’t get in the way and doesn’t disrupt the visual experience.
Performance and storage
At the heart of the nubia Z60 Ultra is the Qualcomm SM8650-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which together with the GPU Adreno 750 delivers the high performance needed for more demanding apps and games. The phone also offers 12 or 16 GB RAM, ensuring smooth multitasking and fast system responsiveness.
Next, it’s equipped, depending on the variant, with 256 or 512 GB of internal storage, but it can’t be expanded further—however, for most users, this amount of memory should be more than enough.

Almost frameless and with sharp edges
The Z60 Ultra is designed with elegance and durability in mind. Its angular, near frameless design (side bezels thickness 1.48 mm and bezel above the display 1.68 mm) is available in silver, black, or a silver-black combination. Unfortunately, the most interesting blue Starry night (Vincent van Gogh) design isn’t available in the global version, but it will be released as a limited edition with sales starting from 28. 4.
The phone weighs 245.2 g and its dimensions are 164 x 76.4 x 8.8 mm, making it fairly sturdy—yet it still feels good in the hand. It also includes an IP68 certification, meaning it’s resistant to water and dust, which is standard for today’s flagship models.
Big 6000 mAh battery, but no wireless charging
The 6000mAh battery ensures you can use the phone all day without a break. However, the charging power 80 W may be a mild disappointment for some—especially considering the lack of wireless charging, which is becoming standard in this class.
A trio of 18 mm, 35 mm and 85 mm camera lenses
The nubia Z60 Ultra’s camera array is specifically designed to meet the needs of passionate photographers. The trio of 18 mm, 35 mm, and 85 mm cameras shifts focus to the focal lengths that photographers love. While iPhone, Galaxy, and Pixel phones have built their cameras around a primary camera with roughly 23–24 mm for years, the Z60 pushes the 35 mm lens instead.
The 18 mm ultra-wide lens with 50 MP resolution and a 1/1.55″ sensor also has an f/1.8 aperture and a 100° field of view—smaller compared to some competing models, but still delivering excellent performance in wide-angle mode.
The main 35 mm lens with the same 50 MP resolution, a 1/1.49″ sensor, and an f/1.6 aperture is the centerpiece of this setup. With OIS stabilization, this lens delivers a high level of detail and a sharp image created directly by optical elements, allowing you to shoot with quality comparable to DSLR cameras—while relying less on software image processing.
To round it out, the 85 mm telephoto lens with 64 MP resolution, a half-inch sensor, and an f/3.3 aperture provides excellent conditions for portrait photography and shots of distant subjects. What’s interesting is that the telephoto lens also supports OIS stabilization, meaning that even in low light it can keep the image sharp and steady.
Each lens comes with its own set of technologies to maximize image quality, making the Z60 Ultra one of the most attractive devices on the market for photography enthusiasts.
