Baseus S1 Lite, N1, X1 Pro and S1 Pro outdoor security cameras look similar, but they differ in resolution, power method, video storage, and whether you get a single camera or a full set with a base. Prices start below 50 € and go above 200 €, so we compared them by the official specs and put together a simple guide for what’s worth buying for your entrance, garden, or the whole yard.
All four have one thing in common: you don’t pay a monthly fee, and recordings are stored locally—either on a microSD card or in the HomeStation base. Prices are from the Baseus EU Halloween promo and are valid until 31. October 2026 (through 23:59), then check them in the boxes.

Important: the prices in the last row are not prices for the same number of cameras: S1 Lite and X1 Pro are individual cameras, while N1 and S1 Pro are sold as sets with the HomeStation base and two cameras. We took the values from the official Baseus EU pages, and where the manufacturer doesn’t list them, we don’t write them.
Resolution and field of view: 2K is enough for the entrance, 3K for the yard
S1 Lite and N1 record in 2K, while N1 has a wider field of view 145° compared to 135°, so for the door or gate that’s more than enough. X1 Pro and S1 Pro run in 3K, and X1 Pro also has two lenses in one body that can track motion over an area up to 300°, so one camera covers a larger yard. S1 Pro has two separate 3K cameras, but the field of view is narrower 120°, so you’ll need to aim them at two different spots.
For better facial sharpness at the entrance, 3K is better, while for regular backyard monitoring it can handle 2K the same thing for half the price. For a large area, X1 Pro wins—it covers it with a single camera, and N1 if you need the widest view for a reasonable price.
Power and runtime: solar everywhere, but batteries differ
S1 Lite has a battery of 5 200 mAh and a solar panel built directly into the body, so you just mount it and don’t have to deal with cables. N1 and X1 Pro have a larger battery of 7 800 mAh; the manufacturer claims up to 1 days for N210 and 1 days for X150 Pro on one charge, but that’s a declaration, not our test. N1 comes in a set with separate solar panels, while X1 Pro has a 3 W panel which, according to the manufacturer, is enough for continuous operation. For S1 Pro Baseus does not state the battery capacity, so in the table we leave it as not provided.
The best supported battery-life data is for N1 and X1 Pro. S1 Lite is the lightest and easiest to install, but with a smaller battery you’ll need to expect weaker sunlight in winter.
Video storage and AI: where the videos go and what they recognize
S1 Lite and N1 store on a microSD card up to 512 GB; for X1 Pro you can choose a version with a 32 GB card and without it. N1 and S1 Pro use the HomeStation base, which adds 1 GB memory with N16. In recognition, X1 Pro leads—it distinguishes people, animals, and vehicles and has an automatic patrol, while S1 Lite detects a person and N1, according to the technical specs, reports only motion—so it may trigger false alarms more often.
Durability and mounting: watch out for IP65 and missing specs
S1 Lite and N1 have IP67 rating, which can handle even being splashed with water; X1 Pro has IP65 and handles rain and wind, but not submersion. For S1 Pro, the manufacturer doesn’t state the protection grade in the text, even though it claims the camera can withstand any weather. Installation is easy according to the manufacturer, because the cameras are mounted to the wall using a bracket and don’t need a power supply.

Final verdict: which one should you choose
If one camera is enough for your entrance, garage, or shed and you want to pay as little as possible, get S1 Lite—with a price under €50 you get 2K, a solar panel, and card storage with no fees. If you’re looking for the best value for money and you need cameras for more places, N1 is a sensible choice, because in the price you get two cameras, solar panels, and a base station. For a large yard or garden you want to monitor with one camera, buy X1 Pro with two 3K lenses and recognition of people, animals, and cars.
Watch out for the S1 Pro: it’s a set of two 3K cameras with a base, so it costs almost twice as much as the X1 Pro, but it doesn’t offer a wider field of view—and on key specs (battery, durability) Baseus stays silent. It’s worth it only if you want two 3K cameras for two spots and don’t mind the higher price; otherwise, cheaper variants will save you money. Don’t buy either of these cameras if you need continuous recording 24 hours a day, because they’re battery-powered cameras designed mainly to capture motion.
