There’s more and more information about the upcoming affordable OnePlus smartphone. Most recently again, for the third time already, the name or the number of cameras on the back has changed.
From now on: OnePlus Nord
The latest available leaks say that the name of the new budget smartphone from the manufacturer BKK Electronics will be OnePlus Nord. Previous names like OnePlus Lite and OnePlus Z were therefore probably just wrongly guessed rumors.
In the initial leaks of the OnePlus Nord smartphone, it wasn’t clear how many sensors the device would have. At first it was said to have two, later three, and in the end four sensors.
The quad camera setup should consist of a 48 MPx main Sony IMX686 sensor, supported by a 16 MPx wide-angle lens, 2 MPx macro, and a 2 MPx depth-of-field sensor, or possibly the not-so-famous Color Filter.
In terms of performance, it’s very likely that the OnePlus Nord smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, which offers plenty of power as well as 5G network support.
Along with 8 GB RAM, 128 GB internal storage, and OnePlus’s awesome system optimization, it’s more than certain that the Oxygen OS environment will run like a dream.
The front should feature a 6,4″ Full HD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) OLED panel supporting a 90 Hz refresh rate. Of course, the operating system will be the latest Android 10.
The OnePlus Nord will be powered by a 4000 mAh battery, which should ensure solid battery life. You also won’t miss 30 W fast charging Warp Charge support.

The OnePlus Nord smartphone should be presented to the world as early as 10th July, with the initial focus on the Indian market. The expected price of the new device is ₹24,990, which comes to 295 € / 330 USD after conversion.
The price for the new smartphone looks very good, and if the new model stays below the 300 € mark, we think it will be a true bestseller.
