The Oppo Find X10 is set to get a 8 000 mAh battery and not one but two 200MPx cameras

Quick summary

  • According to the leak, the base Oppo Find X10 model will get a battery with a capacity of 8,000 mAh.
  • The camera setup should feature a pair of 200MPx sensors (main and telephoto) plus a multispectral sensor.
  • The display should support the BT.2020 color space and a new generation of ProXDR technology.
  • The series is expected to be introduced in September; besides the Find X10, it should also come in the form of a cheaper Find X10E and the flagship Find X10 Pro Max.
  • The Find X10 Ultra version is expected in the first half of next year.

Basic models of flagship series are the ones where the manufacturer saves: a smaller display, a weaker telephoto lens, a smaller battery. According to the latest leaks, Oppo wants to flip this around this year. The unannounced Oppo Find X10 is rumored to get a set of specs that competitors usually offer only in their Pro models—and one of them is even unique across the entire class.

8 000 mAh battery in the base model

The most interesting claim comes from a fresh post by the well-known Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station on Weibo. According to them, under the hood the Find X10 will have a 8,000 mAh capacity battery article, and it should be the only phone in its class with a battery like that. The details were summarized by the site Gizmochina.

For comparison: the current Find X9 has 7 025 mAh, which was already above average on its own. An increase of nearly a thousand milliamp-hours without the phone growing into tablet dimensions is thanks to silicon-carbon battery cells that Chinese manufacturers adopted faster than the rest of the world. In practice, that means two days of normal use instead of one and a half.

Two 200 MPx cameras, and not for the sake of details

The second thing that makes the Find X10 an unusual “base,” is the camera. Digital Chat Station says there will be two 200 MP sensors. One is supposed to serve as the main one, the other as a telephoto lens. They should also be paired with a multispectral sensor for more accurate color measurement and likely a 50 MP ultra-wide lens—however, the leaker in this leak didn’t explicitly mention it.

More interesting than the number itself is the reason. According to the leaker, it’s not primarily about having more detail, but about color consistency between the two lenses. That’s exactly the most noticeable mismatch when switching between 1× and 3× zoom on most phones: the sky suddenly turns bluish differently, and skin tones get a different shade. Using the same sensors largely eliminates that problem.

Display: BT.2020 and the new ProXDR generation

According to the leak, the panel should support a wide color gamut BT.2020, which is commonly used in 4K HDR video and is still rare in the mobile world. The leaker also adds “the highest proportion of beneficial red light in the industry.” It’s a marketing phrase for more eye-friendly rendering during long viewing sessions.

Oppo also officially confirmed that the Find X10 series will be the first with a new generation of ProXDR technology. In its own teaser, the company mentions a DeepPix sensor technology and single-shot dynamic range of up to 17 EV, along with 4K HDR video recording.

What we know about Find X10 from spring leaks

Digital Chat Station already talked in May about a 6.59″ LTPO display with 1.5K resolution and a chip from the Dimensity 9500 series. Along with that, the phone was expected to come with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, full water resistance, and a programmable AI button.

The model marked PMW110, which should be hiding behind Find X10, passed China’s 3C certification with a 80W charger. Wireless charging with 50 W is also expected. So it’s not record-breaking. Oppo apparently prioritized battery capacity over charging speed.

When will the series be unveiled

Oppo has already confirmed that the Find X10 series will arrive in September, but it hasn’t revealed the exact date yet. According to the leaker Smart Pikachu, the September lineup will consist of Find X10E, Find X10, and Find X10 Pro Max. Compared to last year, this is a change—Oppo previously introduced a base model and a Pro model, with the Ultra only in the first half of the following year. Find X10 Ultra is also expected to show up in the first half of 2027 this time around.

As with every leak, the specs can still change before the official announcement. Digital Chat Station, however, is among the more reliable sources, and its claims about the battery and the pair of 200MPx sensors have been repeated for several months.
