We know European prices for Oppo Find X10 and Pro Max: You’ll be paying a pretty penny

Oppo hasn’t officially said how much the Find X10 series will cost in Europe yet, but the prices have already leaked. A reliable insider from billbil-kun posted them along with nearly complete specs, and the numbers make it clear that Oppo’s flagship phones will get noticeably more expensive this year. The base Oppo Find X10 is expected to cost €1,299, while the more expensive Find X10 Pro Max will be as much as €1,799.

How much will the Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max cost in Europe?

According to the magazine Dealabs, for which billbil-kun regularly prepares leaks, Europe will get the base Find X10 in two versions. The 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage model will cost €1,299, and you’ll pay €1,499 for double the storage. The Find X10 Pro Max will be sold only in a single configuration: 12 + 512 GB for €1,799.

The Indian website YTECHB has its own leak, according to which the Pro Max will cost the same €1,799, but the base model will be €100 more—€1,399 and €1,599. Which numbers are correct, we’ll see on 21 October, when Oppo is scheduled to present the series in Europe. In the past, billbil-kun’s price estimates were usually right, so we consider its figures more likely.

The standard Find X10 Pro, which is sold in China alongside the Pro Max, will not arrive in Europe based on previous reports. The Pro Max will therefore be the only more expensive model in the series you can buy here officially.

A jump of 500 € versus the previous generation

The comparison with last year hurts the most. When launched in Europe, the Find X9 with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage cost 999 €, while an equally equipped Find X10 is said in the leak to be 1 499 €, i.e., twice as much. The pricier model is up by the same 500 €, because the Find X9 Pro with 16 GB and 512 GB came out at 1 299 €, whereas the Find X10 Pro Max is expected to be 1 799 €, and it also has less operational memory.

Oppo wants to soften the price increase with launch promotions. If you pre-order the phone with a deposit of 49 €, you’ll get a discount of 150 € on the Find X10 or 200 € on the Pro Max. On top of that, you can choose one gift: a Hasselblad photo set with a teleconverter, an Oppo Pad 5 tablet worth 459 €, or an Oppo Watch X3 watch for 379 €. Students should get a discount of up to 15%.

The European Find X10 will get a smaller battery

For the higher price, Europe even gets a slightly weaker spec. According to the leak, both models will have a battery capacity of 7,150 mAh, although the Chinese versions we wrote about when Find X10 was announced have 8,000 mAh. The 16 GB RAM and 1 TB storage versions won’t come to Europe.

In Europe, the base Find X10 will keep a 6,59-inch LTPO display with a resolution of 2 768 × 1 272, but according to the leak it will have a refresh rate of 120 Hz instead of 144 Hz. It will also retain two 200 Mpx sensors—one in the main camera and the other in the periscope telephoto lens with a focal length of 65 mm—plus a 50 Mpx ultra-wide-angle camera. Sources disagree on the chip: Dealabs and YTECHB list Dimensity 9500, but the global model CPH2911 shown in Geekbench turned out with the same Dimensity 9600M as the Chinese version. Available colors will be Glacier Blue, Mist Gray, and Coral Radiant.

The Find X10 Pro Max will keep three 200 Mpx cameras

With the more expensive model, Europe won’t miss out on anything besides the battery and storage. The Find X10 Pro Max has a 6,78-inch display with a resolution of 2 772 × 1 272, a Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset, and a trio of 200 Mpx cameras, including a telephoto lens with a focal length of 70 mm. You can charge it with a 80 W cable or wirelessly with 50 W, and the body is water- and dust-resistant according to IP66, IP68 and IP69. In Europe, it will be available in Titanium Gray and Moon White.

Last year’s Find X9 Pro is now available in the Czech Republic for 24 990 Kč, roughly €1 000, according to Heureka. If you don’t need an EU warranty, there’s a cheaper route through China: the Chinese version of Find X10 that we offered with a coupon for under €850 also comes with a bigger battery, but you need to account for the Chinese system and longer delivery.
