This is what the rugged 5G tablet looks like in a detailed video:
Oukitel RT7 Titan 5G: Military-grade standard on a 5G tablet
There aren’t many rugged tablets on the market that are meant for tough working conditions. The exception is the Oukitel RT7 Titan 5G, which offers a truly rugged body with dimensions of 249.1 x 167.8 x 19.8 mm. The tablet also has metal mounting, and its weight is 1212 grams. A major advantage is the certification for damage, dust, and water protection labeled MIL-STD-810H, IP 68, as well as IP 69K.
The front features the home of a 10.1″ IPS LCD display with Full HD resolution (1920 x 1200 pixels). The display provides a fine 224 ppi, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, and its maximum brightness tops out at 400 nits. The bezels aren’t the thinnest on the market, but they offer plenty of space for controlling and gripping the tablet.
MediaTek Dimensity 720, a 48 MPx camera, and 33 W charging
Power is handled by an octa-core processor MediaTek Dimensity 720 (MT6853). It’s also complemented by a graphics chip ARM Mali-G57, as well as 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM (with the option to expand by an additional 12 GB) and up to 256 GB of internal storage (UFS 2.2). Storage can be expanded via a microSD card up to 1 TB.
The main camera is a 48 MPx sensor from Sony (IMX 582) with PDAF autofocus. This sensor is complemented by a 20 MPx camera for night vision and a 2 MPx macro sensor. On the front, there’s a 32 MPx sensor designed for video calls.
Other features include Wi-Fi connectivity (2,4 / 5 GHz) as well as Bluetooth in version 5.1. It also supports fast 5G connectivity (SIM card slot), plus dual GPS—Galileo and Beidou navigation are included.
The built-in battery offers an above-standard capacity of up to 32,000 mAh. It’s roughly three to four times the capacity of standard tablets in a similar price range. However, you can charge it with fast 33 W wired charging via a USB Type-C connector. So you’ll reach full capacity in about 7 hours.
The sales package for this model includes the tablet Oukitel RT7 Titan 5G itself, as well as original accessories from the manufacturer. These include especially the power cable with a USB-C connector, a local mains plug (EU Plug, 220 – 240 V / 50 – 60 Hz), and a rugged case with a carry strap, screws for securing the structure, a SIM eject pin, and also a brief user manual and the initial device connection, in English.
