In early September 2020, two Realme models labeled RMX2173 and RMX2117 appeared in the database of the Chinese certification and regulatory company TENAA. It looks like one of these models will be the expected Realme X7 Lite. Not only the specs leaked, but also the photos.
TENAA as a source of information about new devices
The Chinese regulatory and certification authority, known by the abbreviation TENAA, is often a source of information about upcoming smartphone models. Unconfirmed information is spreading online that the model labeled RMX2117 could be unveiled under the serial name Q.
The RMX2173 variant could be a smartphone from the recently introduced X7 model series. That’s suggested by updated parameter details for this model. According to the specs, it’s clear this will be a lower-tier model from this brand. As a result, this model will most likely be launched in the Chinese market as Realme X7 Youth or Realme X7 Lite.
Earlier, a model labeled RMX2176 was also registered. It has almost identical specs to the RMX2173. The only difference is a weaker camera in the RMX2173 model.
Realme X7 Lite cameras
Please note that these are only unofficial reports, and there has been no confirmation anywhere yet that this is actually Realme X7 Lite.
The previously showcased model Realme X7 features a 32 MP selfie camera, compared to the Realme RMX2173, which has a 16 MP front camera.
As for the main camera, Realme X7 came with a 64 MP main lens, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, a 2 MP macro lens, and an additional 2 MP B&W lens. The Realme RMX2173 model features a quad-camera setup combining 48 MP + 8 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP.
The other Realme X7 specs are the same as the Realme RMX2173 model.
Display, processor, and other specs
The Realme RMX2173 (most likely Realme X7 Lite) will measure 160.9 x 74.4 x 8.1 mm and will weigh 175 g.
A 6.43″ display with S-AMOLED technology will offer an aspect ratio of 20:9, a cutout for the camera, and Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 px. An in-display fingerprint reader will be integrated into the display.
The battery will have a capacity of 2100 mAh. The smartphone will be powered by an 8-core processor clocked at 2.4 GHz. There should be versions with 6 or 8 GB RAM and 128 or 256 GB storage. Android 10 and support for microSD cards will not be missing.
