The 144 Hz display will blow you away
At the front, the 6.65″ AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution (1080 x 2340 px) dominates. The refresh rate is 144 Hz and the touch sampling rate is 240 Hz.
The display is therefore much faster and smoother, giving you an advantage in gaming.
Peak power
Inside is the Snapdragon 865, the most powerful mobile processor available today. It is accompanied by the Adreno 650 graphics chip.
It uses the fastest RAM type, LPDDR5, with 8, 12 GB capacities. These are insane numbers that some of us don’t even have in our PCs. As storage, you can choose 128 and 256 GB, of the UFS 3.0 type.
Fast charging, better endurance
To top up the battery quickly and get back to gaming, Red Magic 5G supports 55 W fast charging. It comes with the necessary adapter and cable in the box.
The battery got an improved capacity of 4500 mAh and a special single-cell structure, thanks to which it handles charging cycles better and has lower energy losses.
64 MPx triple camera
Gaming smartphones aren’t mainly about great cameras. Even so, Nubia included a 64 MP Sony IMX686 rear sensor, plus an 8 MP wide-angle and 2 MP macro lens. The front camera has 8 MP.
Active cooling and gaming features
A big highlight is the active cooling inside in the form of a fan. Together with passive cooling, it removes hot air from the device and cools it very effectively.
When holding it in landscape mode, you can use special touch buttons while gaming, with a frequency of up to 300 Hz, functioning like the lower buttons on game controllers.
There’s also a 3.5 mm audio jack for connecting headphones. It also supports the latest WiFi 6 standard, 5G connectivity, dual GPS, and low-latency screencast. There’s also a button on the side that switches the smartphone into gaming mode.
This glowing logo on the back also stands out, giving the smartphone design a truly special look.
