Design and craftsmanship that takes your breath away
OPPO Find X9 Pro is a typical example of a modern flagship that isn’t afraid to show its power through a robust build. The body measuring 161.3 x 76.5 x 8.3 mm and weighing 224 g pairs the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 with a solid aluminum frame. The moment you pick it up for the first time, you immediately feel you’re holding a piece of precisely crafted hardware.
The surface feels extremely premium—the frame is rigid, the metal frame приятно cools in the hand, and nothing squeaks or creaks even when you press a bit harder. The flat edges, a trend of this year, give the device a modern look, and although the phone is fairly heavy, thanks to smart weight distribution it feels surprisingly secure in your grip.
The hardware buttons have a clear response and a precise click, which only enhances the sense of quality. The manufacturer also paid attention to details, such as the special back finish that successfully resists fingerprints.
A big plus is the durability certification IP68 and even IP69, meaning the phone handles not only submersion in water, but also splashing hot water under high pressure—still not common even among the most premium smartphones on the market.
The bezels around the massive display are almost invisible, and combined with the flat screen—plus any case you might put on—it gives the impression you’re holding nothing but a pure image. The rear camera module is truly dominant, and its design with the Hasselblad logo clearly signals this isn’t a toy for kids, but a serious tool for photography enthusiasts.
When you place the phone on a desk, it wobbles slightly due to the protruding lenses, but the included case almost completely eliminates that flaw. In the editorial team, we fell in love with the gray colorway—it feels serious and premium.

All ports and sensors are placed logically—USB-C, the speaker, and the SIM card slot are traditionally on the bottom edge, while the infrared port for controlling home appliances sits on the top side of the device. The volume and power buttons are set a bit higher than usual, but we quickly got used to them.
Display and multimedia at the very top
Without exaggeration, the front of the device belongs to one of the best panels on the market right now. It’s a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a fine resolution of 1272 x 2772 px, giving us a pixel density of about 450 ppi. What puts this display among the top of the market is its ability to reach up to 3600 nits peak brightness with HDR content.
In practice, that means you’ll see everything clearly even in direct summer sunlight, without squinting at all. Thanks to 10-bit display, the colors are incredibly vivid yet still true to reality when you choose the right color profile in the settings. The adaptive refresh rate 120 Hz works flawlessly, and combined with lightning-fast touch response, the system literally flies under your fingertips.
If you’re among users with sensitive eyes, you’ll definitely appreciate the 2160 Hz PWM dimming, which drastically limits screen flicker at low brightness, so your eyes won’t burn even during long evening reading in bed. Minimum brightness is also extremely low—we were surprised how low it can go (down to about 1 nit).
Stereo speakers for an even more immersive visual experience play loudly and surprisingly cleanly. Don’t expect deep bass like in a home theater, but for a smartphone the soundstage is well above average, with balanced dynamics and crisp highs. Support for Dolby Vision and HDR Vivid turns watching Netflix or YouTube videos into a little portable cinema—though the limiting factor will still be the display size.
Touch response is instant and viewing angles are completely flawless—without any color or brightness degradation when you tilt the device. Add to that top-tier haptic feedback that accompanies every action in the system, and you get a complete multimedia package that, in 2026, only a few selected competitors can match.
Performance without limits
At the heart of this beast is the latest, incredibly powerful chipset MediaTek Dimensity 9500, made with advanced 3 nm technology. It’s a direct answer to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, and we have to admit that the Taiwanese MediaTek has done an excellent job.
The main core, C1-Ultra, runs at an incredible 4.21 GHz, and together with 16 GB of lightning-fast LPDDR5X RAM, the OPPO Find X9 Pro becomes the fastest smartphone we’ve ever had in the editorial office. In the past year, we said the same about the OnePlus 13 model, but OPPO is raising the speed ceiling even further. Even if, on paper, the chip from the competing Qualcomm might be a little faster, OPPO has clearly nailed the kind of top-notch user-interface optimization you can feel.
The system’s smoothness is downright contagious, and apps open the moment you touch them. Multitasking takes on a new dimension here—you can keep dozens of apps running in the background, play demanding games at maximum settings, and switch between them without noticing so much as the slightest hesitation. The Arm G1-Ultra graphics processor handles even the most demanding titles with ease, and thanks to advanced cooling, the phone maintains stable performance even during longer gaming sessions.
In benchmarks, this unit shatters records, but practice matters more. The internal storage—UFS 4.1 —with capacities up to 1 TB (in our case 512 GB) ensures that reading and writing data will never slow you down. Still, we have to mention that under extreme load the phone can heat up noticeably, especially in the area beside the camera, but it’s nothing that should burn your hand or cause apps to crash.
That’s a natural effect at this kind of performance in a relatively slim body. Throttling—performance reduction due to heat—only kicks in after a long time during stress tests, so with everyday use you practically have no chance to notice it. In short, this smartphone is an investment in the future that will serve you for years without losing its pace.
ColorOS 16 and artificial intelligence at your service
The ColorOS 16 system built on the newest Android 16 is currently one of the best-tuned graphical skins in the entire Android world. Animations are unbelievably smooth, and transitions between screens feel soft and natural. It’s a global software version, and right after the first launch you can choose the Slovak region with full support for the Slovak language.
OPPO integrated a bunch of smart features under the AI Mind Space umbrella. It’s your personal digital drawer where you can save screen clippings, notes, or addresses, and the system will intelligently pull out what’s most important from them.
AI also plays an important role in photo processing, especially for shots at closer zoom levels, where it refines the details. You can see artificial sharpening, but in this case it genuinely looks better than a largely pixelated image would at 100 to 120-times zoom.
AI also helps with photo editing—you can remove unwanted objects from the frame or even rewrite your voice notes into text with impressive accuracy. The quality is definitely better, for example on Honor (so far, we’ve seen the best results there), and for occasional object removal it works well, but it isn’t the top of the market. Everything of course runs on the server side, and without an active internet connection these edits can’t be performed.
What we enjoyed most, though, was the overall smoothness and stability. Throughout the entire month of testing, we didn’t notice a single app crash or an accidental restart. The system offers huge customization options—from icon design to Always-On display styles, all the way to the color of the entire interface.
If you happen to be worried about delayed app notifications, then there’s absolutely no reason to. It’s great to see how OPPO improved background process optimization, which also shows positively in battery life. Plus, the manufacturer promises up to 5 major system updates—which is an excellent value in the Android world and ensures long “moral” lifespan of the device.

Cameras: when technology meets art
The photographic setup of the OPPO Find X9 Pro is a chapter of its own—and it’s probably the main reason you’ll consider this phone. The main 50 MPx sensor with a physical size of 1/1.28″ and an aperture of f/1.5 is basically a light catcher. Partnering with the legendary Hasselblad brand delivers natural color reproduction that doesn’t look oversaturated or artificial.
The dynamic range is fantastic— even when shooting directly against the sun, shadow details stay preserved and the sky isn’t blown out. The real king, however, is the 200 MPx periscope telephoto lens. Thanks to such high resolution, you can crop even when you’re photographing something truly far away.
A triple optical zoom is just the beginning; digital zoom up to 10x keeps an incredible level of detail without unnecessary noise. If you like shooting macro, this telephoto lens will win you over—it can focus from a short distance and delivers breathtaking close-up shots with a natural bokeh effect that no software can replace.
The ultra-wide sensor with a resolution of 50 MPx and a 120-degree field of view keeps up and maintains the same color rendering as the main sensor, which is key for consistent results. Night photography is a discipline where OPPO really shines. Thanks to huge sensors and advanced AI algorithms, night shots are clean, full of detail, and with minimal noise—while the night mode activates automatically and instantly.
Video recording is possible in up to 4K resolution at 120 frames per second, which is a paradise for slow-motion creators. Support for 10-bit recording, Dolby Vision, and the LOG profile enables professional color grading in post-production. Image stabilization, combining optical and electronic components, works so well that while walking you won’t need any external stabilizer. The front 50 MPx “selfie” camera with autofocus is the cherry on top, ensuring your video calls and selfies are always at the highest quality.
In our tests, we also decided to use the Vivo X100 Ultra, which was notoriously known for its great 50 MPx 1-inch primary sensor and downright brutal 200 MPx telephoto lens. The results from it are less processed, with far less drastic sharpening and a more natural color rendering.
We think that overall, photo fidelity and quality are still on the side of Vivo, but at first glance—and maybe even for you—OPPO delivers with its contrastier, richer, sharper rendering. In some cases it’s basically “Instagram-ready”, though it doesn’t overdo it in any obvious way. Thanks to the Hesselblad philosophy, the photos are balanced.
Although during our entire testing we only came across a single day when the sun smiled down on us from the sky, even these moodier winter shots proved that the OPPO Find X9 Pro can deliver absolutely phenomenal results. Its photo app is fast and packed with handy options, as you can see in the attached screenshots. It’s equally enjoyable for beginners and professional photographers alike.

Battery & charging: 3-day battery life isn’t just a myth
Now we’re getting to the parameter that will knock many people’s socks off. The OPPO Find X9 Pro houses a revolutionary Si/C (silicon-carbon) battery with an absolutely unreal capacity of 7500 mAh. It’s a small technical miracle—how they managed to cram such an energy portion into a body that isn’t any thicker than typical smartphones with a 5000 mAh battery.
During our demanding tests—when we kept the phone busy with 5G connectivity, frequent taking photos, navigation/maps, benchmarks, and basically daily video watching—we consistently reached the two-day mark on a single charge. If you’re a regular user who occasionally sets the phone down, three days is a completely realistic scenario, and that was also the case for us, since we had already tested most aspects of this phone.
This is a value that iPhone and Samsung owners can only dream of. Standby mode is tuned to perfection—overnight, we only saw a negligible drop in the total battery capacity. In practice, we recorded this kind of endurance (the abbreviation SOT stands for “Screen on time”, i.e., time with the display on):
- A day with 4 hours of SOT: -40 %
- Half an hour of video watching + 15 minutes standby: -3 %
- A day and a half of use with 4,5 hours of SOT: -45 %
- 8 hours of sleep and 1,5 hours of SOT: -10 %
- An easy day with 2,5 hours of SOT: -18 %
- A day with 4 hours of SOT: -26 %
- 3 days of use with 9 hours of SOT: -98 %
- A day with 3,5 hour SOT: -37 %
As you can see, the battery life of the OPPO Find X9 Pro is absolutely phenomenal. It’s an incredibly capable workhorse that can comfortably last for days—something you don’t see very often. For heavy users, it will take about 1.5 days to drain, and it won’t be rare for lighter users to get up to 3 days without charging. In the settings, you’ll find three performance modes: Balanced, Power Saving, and High Performance. Power Saving further limits several phone features to achieve the best possible battery life.
So you don’t have to wait half a day for a full charge with this battery capacity, OPPO includes a 80 W SuperVOOC charger. The whole process from 0 to 100% takes a little over an hour, which is a fantastic result considering the size of the battery. In just 15 minutes on the charger, you’ll get enough power for a full workday. Here are our exact measured stats.
Charging from 1% to 100%:
- 5 minutes: 12%
- 10 minutes: 19%
- 15 minutes: 27%
- 20 minutes: 34%
- 25 minutes: 41%
- 30 minutes: 48%
- 35 minutes: 56%
- 40 minutes: 63%
- 45 minutes: 69%
- 50 minutes: 76%
- 55 minutes: 83%
- 60 minutes: 87%
- 65 minutes: 89%
- 70 minutes: 92%
- 75 minutes: 94%
- 80 minutes: 96%
- 85 minutes: 99%
- 90 minutes: 100%
The phone also supports 50 W wireless charging, which is almost as fast as wired charging from your competitors. There’s also 10 W reverse wireless charging, so you can easily top up your earbuds or watch directly from the back of the phone.
The manufacturer also guarantees at least 1300 charging cycles before capacity drops below 80%, meaning years of worry-free use. In the system, you’ll also find intelligent power-saving modes and battery protection during night charging, which learns your biorhythm and tops up those last few percent right before your morning alarm.
Connectivity and flagship-level extras
OPPO Find X9 Pro leaves nothing to chance, even when it comes to connectivity. Support for the latest Wi-Fi 7 standard ensures lightning-fast data downloads and minimal latency for online gaming. Bluetooth 6.0 with support for premium codecs like aptX HD and LHDC 5 ensures your wireless headphones deliver the highest possible audio quality.
What pleasantly surprised us was its signal sensitivity—where other phones would already be out of breath in areas with weak coverage, OPPO still maintained stable 4G or 5G connectivity. The same can be said for the strength of the signal reaching your wireless earbuds even over distance through walls, which were a barrier for the signal path.

We even saw the fastest data transfer speeds yet within the mobile data network with this phone. The in-display ultrasonic fingerprint reader is fast and works reliably even with wet fingers, which is a huge advantage over cheaper optical sensors. The infrared port along the top edge is a great bonus too—thanks to it, you can control your air conditioner, TV, or audio system without having to look for a remote control.

NFC for contactless payments via Google Pay works perfectly in this Chinese version—just set the app as the default. Navigation is extremely accurate thanks to the dual-band GNSS system, and location lock happens instantly even in dense city surroundings.
An interesting new feature is satellite connectivity, which lets you call for help in extreme situations even outside mobile network range—although this function is currently limited to certain regions. The USB-C port in version 3.2 supports fast data transfer plus video output via DisplayPort, so you can easily connect the phone to a monitor or TV. In short, it’s a fully equipped device that will reliably serve you in any situation.
Final verdict: Is it worth the investment?
To sum it all up, OPPO Find X9 Pro is currently one of the best and most technologically advanced smartphones on the planet. We wouldn’t be afraid to say it’s also, in our opinion, downright the best—but of course everyone has different preferences. Simply put, this phone goes beyond what we previously considered the standard, especially in terms of battery endurance and its image-zoom capabilities.
It’s a premium piece of hardware that combines raw chipset power, the MediaTek Dimensity 9500, a breathtaking AMOLED display, and cameras that in certain areas can even go head-to-head with professional-grade equipment. This phone is for power users, tech enthusiasts, and anyone who’s tired of charging their phone every single evening.
There are really minimal compromises here, and after you purchase it, you’ll get a device that draws attention everywhere you go. The price is absolutely fair considering the top-tier specs, and we can recommend this model to you with a clear conscience. OPPO Find X9 Pro has, in our view, been a definite success and sets the bar high for the entire competition in 2026.
