A new electric carpet cleaner was added this time to the product portfolio under the Xiaomi ecosystem — a device that makes cleaning sofas, carpets, chairs, and other items easier for you. The UWANT B100 will catch your eye with its attractive design, suction power of 12,000 Pa, and water tank capacity of 1.6 and 1.8 L.
In the review, we’ll look at the package contents, controls, and share our experience with removing stains.

Package contents
Let’s start the traditional way with what’s in the box. The UWANT B100 carpet washer was delivered by the courier in a box measuring 52.5 x 25.5 x 41 cm. Inside, in the top part, you’ll find the user manual and a manufacturer envelope with thanks for purchasing this product. Under the top layer of cardboard reinforcement sits the carpet washer itself, wrapped in a transparent film, along with the main hose.
The accessories are hidden in the upper cardboard reinforcement. Specifically, you’ll find the cleaning head with a brush and the water nozzle, a small plastic stand, a practical pocket for accessories, and a small measuring cup for the cleaning solution.
It’s a shame the manufacturer didn’t include at least a small amount of cleaning solution that you could use with this carpet cleaner. We’re satisfied with the packaging quality, and thanks to the cardboard parts, the device is well protected against damage during shipping.
Build quality and design
In our humble opinion, the UWANT B100 carpet washer is a very attractive product from a design standpoint. The manufacturer chose a fairly simple, yet appealing design by pairing elegant white with glossy copper-colored elements.
As for build quality, the carpet cleaner is made of plastic, but it feels very solid. It’s definitely not a low-quality piece of plastic. However, we do have some reservations about the main hose, which carries dirt and water between the brush head and the main unit.
The hose may look good, but it’s rather stiff, which makes it not very flexible. We would’ve welcomed a more flexible material, which would make handling the head during cleaning easier.
Placement of the components
At first glance, the UWANT B100 looks similar to a traditional vacuum cleaner. On the front you’ll find a large brand logo, and at the top there’s a handy handle for easy carrying.
The carpet cleaner isn’t heavy, so carrying it is very easy. On the floor, you can also move it thanks to four rubberized wheels on the bottom. The wheels are quiet, but only the front ones rotate, and they’re also noticeably smaller.
On both sides of the main unit there are containers. One is for clean water, the other for dirty water. The clean-water container can hold 1.8 L, while the one for dirt has a capacity of 1.6 L.
The hose connects at the side, below the clean-water tank. In the back, we also find the power cable for plugging into the mains—it's coiled inside the carpet washer. To connect to power, simply pull out the cable. Its length is 5 m. You’ll also appreciate the automatic cable rewind system that works by pressing a button on the back, plus a small socket for storing the measuring cup.
How it works and a practical brush
Many cleaners, such as those from the well-known Kärcher brand, come with several attachments, as they’re often multifunctional vacuums suitable for both wet and dry cleaning. The UWANT B100 is a pure cleaner with a practical, multifunctional head.
This combines multiple elements. Specifically, it’s a nozzle for water dispensing, a brush, and an opening for suctioning contaminated water. The brush consists of bristles with a diameter of just 0.02 mm, and you’ll find as many as 200,000 of them here. On the head there are two buttons – one for dispensing water and the other for self-cleaning the head.
The operating principle is based on wetting the surface with water and then sucking up the contaminated water. Thanks to the integrated brush, the ironing performance should be higher. The ironer turns on by pressing the backlit button on the front, labeled as on/off. The second button is used to adjust the power in two levels – 8000 and 12,000 Pa.
First power-on and extracting the sofa
Before turning the carpet washer on for the first time, you need to fill the 1.8 L tank with water. There are minimum and maximum water level markings on this tank. We used regular tap water.
Since extraction with clean water doesn’t have a particularly high effect, we added a cleaning detergent—Vanish—intended for machine extraction. Using the measuring cup included with the extractor, we poured in the amount specified by the manufacturer, mixed it into clean water, and secured the container with the rubber cap on the top.
For our first test, we chose an old sofa that has already seen better days. It’s dirty in several places, and grime has settled in the surface fabric for long enough and deep enough. First, we sprayed the sofa with water and the cleaning solution, waited a few minutes for the detergent to work, and then started extracting.
For full use, we extracted right away at a higher power setting. From the start, thanks to the transparent part of the head, we could see the extractor pulling in the dirty water effectively.
Suction quality, sprayer and brush
Of course, we also tested washing other surfaces such as various carpets or chairs with a fabric upholstery cover. On the maximum mode, the suction power of 12 000 Pa can pick up dirt, but the surface still remains fairly wet. That’s to be expected, because no carpet washer can dry the washed surface using suction.
Unfortunately, we don’t have another similar carpet washer available that we could use to compare the UWANT B100 directly. However, if we compare it to a carpet washer available at car washes, the seats in the cars remained similarly wet.
Cleaning quality depends to a large extent—especially—on the cleaning detergent used. The Vanish we used didn’t create any foam, but the water after cleaning was exceptionally dirty, and most importantly, the old sofa we extracted looked visibly cleaner after drying.
The nozzle dispenses water in a fairly small amount, so wetting the surface takes a while. The brush is very gentle, so we didn’t have to worry about damaging the extracted surfaces. However, during extraction, a few bristles did fall out of the brush, but it wasn’t a large number.
Tip for better extraction
By spraying on water with the cleaning detergent and then vacuuming up the dirty water, of course you won’t remove dried-in dirt that has been on the item for a long time. To remove such dirt, we found the following approach works well—we tested it on a dining chair.
First, we vacuumed the chair to remove dust. Then, using the extractor, we applied water with the above-mentioned cleaning detergent. We then turned the extractor off and cleaned the chair surface using the brush on the extractor head.
This is how foam formed on the surface, which we left to work for about 5 minutes. Next, we turned the carpet washer back on, sucked up the water with dirt, and let it dry. This way, we managed to remove even dried-up dirt. The chair’s surface still looked quite wet at first, but at room temperature it dried in about 6 – 7 hours.
Noise level
The manufacturer states that the carpet washer has low noise, so it shouldn’t be disruptive in your home. In the low mode, it’s up to a maximum of 65 dB, and in strong mode up to 75 dB. However, these values are definitely not low enough to let you sleep undisturbed, as the manufacturer claims.
We verified the noise level with a digital sound meter. In the low mode, at a distance of about 1.5 m from the carpet washer, we measured 78 dB, and in the strong mode it was almost 81 dB. Our measurements are therefore a bit higher than what the manufacturer states.
Cleaning the carpet washer
Since the carpet washer sucks in dirty water, it’s important to wash it after every use. However, cleaning is not complicated at all. Simply pour out the dirty water that the carpet washer has sucked up from the tank, and then rinse it under running water.
As for the brush head, you can wash that as well. The head also has a self-cleaning function, which is controlled by pressing the auto-clean button on the head. Self-cleaning consists of rinsing the inner part of the head with the handle using clean water.
This cleaning isn’t quite sufficient, so we recommend always opening the head and rinsing it under water. The self-cleaning will nevertheless help especially with clearing the hose. There’s a rotating cover at the bottom of the carpet washer, under which a filter is hidden to prevent secondary contamination of the air.

The UWANT B100 carpet washer is a handy helper for every home. It helps remove dirt from carpets, sofas, chairs, and other upholstered items. It has a power of 450 W, a suction power of 12 000 Pa, and an attractive, modern design.
A brush with a spray nozzle and a suction attachment are combined into one brush head with a handle. We tested the carpet washer when cleaning sofas, carpets, and chairs using a cleaning product as an add-on to clean water. We were also able to remove older, dried-up dirt.

The water tank is a little smaller compared with the competition from the well-known Kärcher brand, but thanks to the smaller tanks, the cleaner itself is more compact. Other downsides include a weaker water nozzle and a fairly stiff hose.
