Seauto SAT20 is among the most interesting robotic pool cleaners in the low-price category. Despite its price tag below 155 €, it delivers features that until recently were only found in significantly more expensive models.
The manufacturer went for cordless design, smart sonar navigation, high suction power of up to 18,000 Pa, and even the ability to clean the walls or the waterline. The robot is designed for pools with an area of up to 200 m² and handles different pool surfaces and shapes.

Robot verified by video reviews
The Seauto SAT20 robotic pool vacuum offers approx. 180 minutes of runtime, three cleaning modes—floor, walls, or a combined mode—and, according to the reviewer, it’s a solid choice in its price category (in the US it can go for up to around $330!). It performs best on smaller pools and with regular maintenance cleaning. It can reach the water surface, but it doesn’t clean the walls as thoroughly as more expensive models with track drive.
For heavier dirt, it’s recommended to use a separate bottom-cleaning mode. In combined mode, the robot would skip part of the dirt, and after the cycle finished there was quite a lot of leaves and sediment left at the bottom. Its wheels have poorer grip on the walls and the robot moves fairly quickly, which can stir up dirt before it has time to vacuum it. It also sometimes stops for 10 to 25 seconds while the sensors evaluate the next direction of travel.
Overall, it’s a budget-friendly and reliable robot, especially for smaller pools with light to moderate dirt. The weaker points include lower suction power, a smaller debris container, and an impractical removable basket lid. For a larger pool or a big amount of leaves, the reviewer would rather invest in a more powerful model, but on promotion SAT20 could be an interesting option for routine maintenance.
18 000 Pa power and wall cleaning
The main draw of the Seauto SAT20 is its high 18,000 Pa suction power combined with filtration rated at 4800 GPH. The robot can easily suck up sand, small stones, leaves, hair, and settled debris from the pool floor. The manufacturer also used a pair of active rotating brushes, which help loosen even tougher dirt and algae.
The highlight is the 4×4 drive and the ability to climb up the pool walls. The robot can move not only along the bottom, but also handles wall and waterline cleaning. This is a feature you often won’t find in cheaper pool robots. The waterline is usually the spot where the most grease and dirt build up.
Smart sonar navigation
The manufacturer built smart sonar navigation into the Seauto SAT20. During cleaning, the robot analyzes the pool area and optimizes its movement route. In practice, that means fewer unnecessary passes, better surface coverage, and more efficient cleaning without missed spots.
The robot can handle round, rectangular, oval, and even irregular-shaped pools. It supports various surface types, including vinyl, concrete, ceramic tiles, fiberglass, and stone. It also manages water depths of from 0.5 to 5 meters.
Three cleaning modes as needed
You have three different cleaning modes at your disposal. The default Auto mode combines cleaning the floor, walls, and the waterline. It’s an ideal solution for regular full pool cleaning without the need for adjustments.
The second mode is designed only for cleaning the pool floor, and the third focuses on the walls and the waterline. This way, you can customize the operation according to the current condition of your pool or save the battery when there’s less dirt.
Up to 150 minutes of operation
Inside, there’s a battery with a capacity of 7800 mAh, providing up to 150 minutes of runtime on a single charge. That’s enough time even for larger pools with an area close to the maximum 200 m². Recharging afterward takes about 3 hours.
A practical feature is automatic docking when the battery level is low. When the charge drops below 5%, the robot automatically floats to the pool edge, where you can simply pull it out using the included hook.
Easy maintenance and high-quality filtration
The Seauto SAT20 uses a filter basket with a filtration fineness of 250 to 300 μm. It captures even smaller dirt particles, so the water stays noticeably cleaner. A big advantage is the top access to the basket, making cleaning it very easy and quick.
The robot has IP68 water resistance and weighs approximately 6 kg, so handling it isn’t complicated. You’ll also appreciate the brushless motor, which ensures quieter operation and a longer service life.
