The Vivo X200 flagship series is among Vivo’s most talked-about high-end smartphones. The trio of models—Vivo X200, Vivo X200 Pro, and Vivo X200 Pro Mini—first brought to market the new MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chipset, one of the most powerful mobile processors today.
The X200 series delivers massive performance, premium cameras, and improved battery life. Each model targets a slightly different user, but they share the same foundation: cutting-edge tech, high efficiency, and an aggressive focus on mobile photography. So what exactly do these devices offer users?
CN version at a great price
Our long-time partner, one of the most reliable smartphone sellers, Trading Shenzen, has the Vivo X200 Pro model available to order. It comes with customs-free shipping via Global Priority, with delivery taking approximately 15 days.
The Vivo X200 Pro may be the Chinese version, but it has support for all of our networks (including B20 LTE) just like the older X80 Pro model, which we tested and used in the editorial office for a long time. The system is available in English (Czech and Slovak are missing), supports all Google services, you can install Google Play and pay with Google Pay. Of course, it also supports OTA system updates, and the smartphone has standard manufacturer support. The charger will come with a Chinese plug, so you’ll need an adapter—and it also supports Widevine Level 1 for full-quality streaming.
How long is this smartphone covered by software support? Vivo X200 Pro global has promised 4 big Android system updates, followed by 5 years of security updates.
ℹ️ Update: With the latest beta system update, support for Android Auto is also coming—something that has not been available on any Vivo smartphone until now.

Clear displays with a minimalist curved design
Let’s start with the most basic part of any smartphone: the display. The Vivo X200 has a 6.67-inch diagonal, while the X200 Pro has a 6.78-inch screen with a 1260 x 2800 px resolution. These are LTPO OLED panels that have tiny bends along all four edges to achieve a more premium, modern look.

A 120 Hz refresh rate ensures a smooth user experience. The displays support HDR10+ content, Dolby Vision technology, and a top (peak) brightness level of up to an impressive 4000 nits.

The displays deliver increased accuracy in color reproduction and a high-frequency PWM dimming at 2160 Hz. This will please people with sensitive eyes when using the phone with minimal brightness settings.

The X200 Pro Mini Variant features a compact, 6.31-inch 1.5K display that offers similar features to its bigger siblings. Specifically for gamers, it’s also important that the phones significantly improve the user experience by enabling a 90 Hz refresh rate in games and implementing support for ray tracing. Security features such as optical fingerprint scanners are built directly under the displays of these smartphones.
Top-tier performance and efficiency
The already mentioned chipset MediaTek Dimensity 9400 will be responsible for the performance, manufactured using a 3 nm process. You can expect major advances not only in raw performance, but also in energy efficiency and in the AI area as well.

It supports 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage of the UFS 4.0 type. Vivo X200 Pro, thanks to this hardware, achieved an impressive score of 3.04 million points in the popular AnTuTu Benchmark, placing it right at the very top of the ranking.

The operating system Android 15 on the Chinese version is overlaid with the custom interface Origin OS 5, which adds special features and a UI design that’s different from stock Android. You should look forward to great tuning and a fast, smooth operation.

You can expect smooth device performance for a very long time. Various optimizations have been made, and the developers have specifically focused on animations so they feel even smoother. The phone is said to stay just as smooth as on the day you first turned it on, for the next 60 months. In China, AI called “BlueLM” will also be available, designed to make it easier to handle the user’s everyday needs.
A huge battery in a compact body
The Vivo X200 model is powered by a 5800 mAh battery. The Vivo X200 Pro has an even larger, 6000 mAh cell. In any case, you can charge the trio of new devices at up to 90 W. If you prefer wireless power delivery, expect a maximum output of 30 W.

The Vivo X200 Pro Mini model has enormous potential. It’s thinner (8.15 mm) than the iPhone 16 Pro, and yet it still packs a massive 5700 mAh battery. Such a high capacity across the entire lineup is possible thanks to third-generation silicon batteries, which enable an increase in energy density of up to 19.6%.
Cameras will be the center of attention
The cameras are the part many people are most excited about. On paper, everything looks truly great. Camera quality will be proven by real-world tests, but we’re confident the Vivo X200 series won’t disappoint. It was revealed that major improvements are planned for photos of scenes with high dynamic range. A dedicated image-processing chip, V3+, has been implemented.

The entire lineup is equipped with top-tier cameras. Of course, the most interesting photography system is found in the Vivo X200 Pro. The primary sensor, Sony LYT-818 sized 1/1.28″, offers 50 MPx (f/1.8), pixel size of 1.22 µm, and also features PDAF autofocus as well as optical image stabilization. There’s also a 50 MPx (f/2.0) ultra-wide lens with a 119-degree field of view.
The standout third sensor is the 200 MPx (f/2.7) telephoto lens with a 85 mm focal length, 3.7× optical zoom, optical image stabilization, and especially great macro capabilities. In essence, it’s the same camera that’s used in the Vivo X100 Ultra model. The front camera offers 32 MPx (f/2.0).
Vivo X200 comes with a 50 MPx primary camera plus an ultra-wide 50 MPx camera, using a less high-quality sensor compared to the “Pro” variants. You’ll also get a 50 MPx telephoto lens. The Vivo X200 Pro Mini model has, on paper, the same photography setup, including a 32 MPx front “selfie” camera.
You can record 4K video up to 120 fps, or even 8K video at 30 fps. The final footage will be stable thanks to the combination of OIS and EIS. There’s also an option to shoot 10-bit HDR video clips and “4K HDR Cinematic Portrait Video”.
Slow-motion footage is available up to 4K quality at 120 fps. The optics were developed in cooperation with Zeiss. While taking photos, short videos will also be saved to create live photos—something you may know for example from iPhones.
B20 LTE support even for the Chinese version
Connectivity is another area where the new models don’t disappoint. You can look forward to support for the latest 5G networks as well as LTE band B20. At least for two of the models. The only exception is the “Pro Mini” model, which unfortunately doesn’t support B20, which is a big shame. With the other devices, you’ll connect to the networks of our local operators without any issues. The chip set also includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and all globally supported GNSS location systems.

There’s also NFC, for example for contactless payments, plus an infrared port that lets you control various supported electronics at home or in the office. The manufacturer has worked on the technology called “Universal Signal Amplification System 2.0”, whose goal is to radically boost the intensity of the received signal and ensure your smartphone stays connected even in areas with weak coverage. The USB-C port is version 3.2, so you can expect faster data transfers via OTG.

The new design color for the Vivo X200 and X200 Pro is the “Sapphire Blue” variant, featuring an interesting texture. It resembles sea waves or, as the manufacturer puts it, “a dark blue ocean during a storm”. The Vivo X200 and X200 Pro models are also available in three other colors: “Titanium”, “White Moonlight”, and “Chenye Black”.
