A home camera system doesn’t have to cost hundreds of euros if you don’t mind running cables. SriHome is now selling two PoE camera sets on Banggood with the same NVS005 recorder and four cameras with a 5 Mpx resolution. Both cost less than 150 € and ship from a Czech warehouse. They differ only in the cameras: the first set has metal cylindrical cameras with a spotlight and IP66-rated protection; the second has dome cameras for the ceiling or wall with a microSD card slot. We’ll help you choose which one fits the facade and which one is better under the roof.
A spotlight at every corner of the house, delivered from Czechia
Banggood sells the SriHome NVS005-POE065B set with four cylindrical cameras with a spotlight from its Czech warehouse, from where it should reach you in about a week. VAT is already included in the price and since the shipment doesn’t go through customs, you pay nothing extra upon receipt.

Common foundation: SriHome NVS005 recorder with power via a network cable
Both sets use the four-channel recorder NVS005, which has four PoE ports at the back. Each camera connects to it using a single network cable that provides power and sends the video signal—so you don’t need a power socket or adapter at the camera. The cable can be up to 150 meters long depending on the manufacturer, and the cameras connect to the recorder automatically, without pairing and without searching for IP addresses. If four cameras aren’t enough over time, you can expand the system up to 16 cameras using an additional PoE switch, including cameras from other brands with the ONVIF standard.
Recordings are saved to a SATA hard drive with up to 16 TB capacity, but it isn’t included in the package, so you need to budget for it. Video is compressed with the H.265 codec, so more days of recordings fit on the drive than with the older H.264. You connect the recorder to a TV or monitor via HDMI or VGA and control it with the mouse included in the box. However, keep in mind that you’ll get up to 1080p on the screen, even though the cameras record in 5 Mpx.
Cylindrical SH065B cameras with a spotlight and IP66 rating for the facade
The first set includes four cylindrical cameras SH065B with a metal body and IP66 protection. They can handle rain and snow and work in temperatures from −10 to +50 °C. That’s enough for a typical Slovak winter, but in severe frost they’ll be right at the edge of what the manufacturer states. The cameras capture in 2560 × 1920 resolution, and in the dark they offer three modes: infrared black-and-white, full-color with white light, and a smart mode that turns the light on only when the camera detects a person.
The main advantage of the set is the spotlight and siren, which turn on when there’s motion and scare off an unwanted guest before they even reach the gate. That’s why these cameras belong on the facade—by the entrance door, in the yard, or by the gate. Based on the photos in the listing, you get four cameras and four 20-meter cables, but the seller’s package list only shows “1× set”, so check the exact contents when you receive it.
Dome SH030B cameras for ceiling and wall, with built-in microSD card
The second set includes four dome cameras SH030B with the same 5 Mpx resolution. You screw them to the ceiling or wall and manually pan them 360° sideways and 90° up or down. At night they switch between infrared and color viewing with white light, and when there’s motion they trigger the siren, but the spotlight like in the first set is not included. Each camera also has a microSD card slot, so it can store recordings even if the recorder stops working.
The seller for these cameras does not state the IP rating, so we wouldn’t put them where it will rain on them directly. They’re great under an awning over the entrance, under a carport, in a garage, workshop, or hallway. The package includes four network cables, 20 meters each, a mouse, a power adapter for the recorder, and screws for mounting the cameras and the disk.
Warnings for mobile & two-way conversation via the camera
You connect the recorder to the router with a cable, and in the SriHome app for Android and iOS you can then watch all cameras live from anywhere—plus you can give access to other family members too. When the camera detects a person, it starts recording and you get a push notification on your phone, so you don’t have to go through hours of footage.
The cameras from both sets have a microphone and a speaker, so through the app you can talk to the courier at the gate or use your voice to scare someone away from the yard. The whole system works without a monthly cloud subscription, because everything is stored at home on the disk.
Which SriHome set should you choose
If you want to monitor your home from outside, go for the cheaper SH065B set with bullet cameras. It has IP66 rating and a reflector that deters a thief better than the siren alone. SH030B dome cameras fit everywhere they’ll be under a roof—e.g., in a garage, under a carport, or inside the house, where you’ll appreciate the discreet shape, ceiling mounting, and a backup on a microSD card. If you’d rather have an analog system with coaxial cables, we recently also wrote about the cheaper set SriHome NV5008-AHD005.
There aren’t many reviews on Banggood yet, because each set has only one rating and none of them has a photo. A buyer from Slovakia hasn’t connected the bullet set yet, but according to them it looks good at first glance. A customer from Hungary, on the other hand, says they couldn’t get the dome set working even with the help of experts, so they’re returning it. Before you start drilling into the façade, it’s worth installing the whole system first and testing it on the table.
