Great performance worthy of a gaming laptop
ThundeRobot 911 Plus is among the bigger ones, 17.3″ laptops. Besides the sufficiently large display size, it will especially delight gamers with its performance. Under the hood, it hides a Intel i7-10870H processor, whose maximum clock speed is up to 5 GHz. It’s an 8-core processor from the 10th generation with a 16 MB L3 cache. Compared to the previous generation, it has up to 55% higher performance.
It’s still a relatively new processor introduced in the fourth quarter of 2020 and it really offers solid performance. You can read more about it at notebookcheck.
The processor is supported by DDR4 RAM with a capacity of 16 GB and a frequency of 2933 MHz. The most interesting component for gamers, however, is the powerful NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card made using an 8 nm process, with up to 6 GB of memory.
You’ll also find a fast NVMe SSD with a capacity of 512 GB. Plus, there’s room inside for an additional SSD drive, since it has 2x M.2 slots.
Display and other features
The ThundeRobot 911 Plus has a 17.3″ IPS display with a high 144 Hz refresh rate. Its maximum resolution is 1920 x 1080 px, and it comes with thin 6 mm bezels. There’s also a backlit keyboard with a numeric keypad, an efficient cooling system with two fans with copper heat pipes, and a lightweight 180 W charging adapter.
As for connectivity, you get 2 x USB 3.0, 1 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB-C, HDMI, MiniDP, RJ-45, a memory card reader, and a combo jack for headphones and a microphone. You’ll receive the laptop with the pre-installed Windows 10 operating system in the global version.
You’ll also be impressed by the manufacturer software called Control Center 3.0, which gives you an overview of the device status, lets you adjust the keyboard backlight with animations, change the performance mode, or set the fan speeds.
