In the last few days, we noticed an interesting change on AliExpress—and one that’s quite important for our community. Several verified shops have disappeared from the platform, from which we regularly shared smartphones, watches, tablets, or other electronics at very good prices during roughly the last two years. This mainly includes shops like Super Tech Espana or Euro Tech, which were well known among our readers thanks to delivery from European warehouses. What’s also interesting is that, out of nowhere, Nubia’s official smartphone seller also vanished—through it, we shared the very popular model Nubia Z60S Pro and the newest Nubia Z80 Ultra.
Some shops disappeared without explanation
So far, we have no official statement from AliExpress or from the sellers themselves. In practice, though, it looks like several Spanish-delivery shops simply stopped existing or removed most of the attractive products. For a regular customer, this can feel chaotic, because these offers were still available and working without any issues not long ago.
On Reddit someone posted a user’s opinion that part of the Chinese sellers is gradually leaving Spanish warehouses due to stricter oversight by the Spanish tax authority. However, you should treat this only as an unverified user experience, not as a confirmed reason for changes in sellers’ logistics. What is verifiable is the broader trend: in recent years, Spain’s tax agency AEAT and other European bodies have been dealing with multiple cases of customs, VAT, and anti-dumping fraud involving goods coming from China. Since products sold from European warehouses must be properly imported, cleared through customs, and tax-settled, the growing pressure to follow the rules could be one of the factors behind some sellers changing warehouses or logistics routes. However, there’s still no direct confirmation that this is the main reason for leaving Spain.
Tax pressure in Spain could be one of the reasons
So this hypothesis makes sense: some Chinese sellers may have started rethinking how the Spanish warehouses work. It may not be just one specific change in the law, but rather a combination of stricter controls, higher invoicing requirements, VAT, product origin, customs paperwork, and responsibility for sales within the European Union. In 2025, Spanish authorities also reported actions against counterfeit goods in warehouses and stores, showing that checks on importing and distributing goods are an active topic.
We don’t want to claim that this is the 100% reason why Super Tech España stores, Euro Tech, or the Nubia Flagship Store retailer disappeared. However, based on the available information, it seems like a realistic explanation that fits into the wider developments in the European market. For us as a portal, what matters most is that we recommend to readers only offers where we have trust in the seller, reliable delivery, and the final price.
We’re seeing new replacements mostly in French and Polish warehouses
The good news is that we’re already finding replacements step by step. In the last few days, we’ve noticed more products, especially in French warehouses and in Polish warehouses. For some offers, even based on the initial product images and the style of the listings, we suspect they may be previous sellers who simply moved the warehouse and created a new shop.
We’ll be watching this very closely. For products like Nubia smartphones, Huawei watches, Lenovo tablets or other more expensive electronics, it’s important to us that the seller isn’t completely new with no history and that delivery really comes from an EU warehouse. With pricier products, it simply isn’t worth taking the risk just to save a few extra euros.
We’ve noticed several new sellers offering original branded products that we previously found overwhelmingly in Spanish warehouses. Now they’re spread across Polish and French warehouses.
Here’s the list of new verified sellers:
- Core Tech Store – original Sony, Garmin, OnePlus, DJI, Huawei, Honor, Nintendo products (looks like the successor to Euro Tech)
- EU Tecno Store – a very similar selection to Core Tech
- Electronic Elite Store – original Lenovo, Garmin, OnePlus, realme, Huawei products
- DigitalCore Store – original Honor smartphones, tablets and watches
-
Phonesty Store – also original Honor smartphones, tablets and watches
- Simgrity Store – original OnePlus, POCO, Huawei, Honor, Oppo, Vivo, realme and Samsung products with a 2-year warranty
The Slovak AliExpress now has more products than the German one
What’s also interesting is that several missing products are starting to appear mainly on the Slovak version of AliExpress. We tried to check availability for products like Huawei Watch GT 6 Pro or Nubia Z60S Pro on the German AliExpress too, but without success. This means some offers are currently available only for specific countries or regions.

For our readers, this has one practical impact. For selected products, it will no longer be possible to use our well-known trick of shopping via German AliExpress and then using post-forwarding to get a better price. If the German version of AliExpress doesn’t show the product at all, this method simply won’t work. For each offer, we’ll therefore state whether it’s available directly for Slovakia, or whether it’s worth trying another country.
Did the last 2 months affect your AliExpress shopping?
From 1. July 2026, customs rules will also change
One more major change is also entering the picture. From 1. July 2026, a new rule for small shipments to 150 € is set to start applying across the EU. The EU Council approved temporary customs duty of 3 € per item or per item category in the shipment. This is a step aimed at отменing the current exemption, which previously kept shipments up to 150 € free from customs duty. This measure mainly applies to e-commerce parcels coming from countries outside the EU—so it also affects purchases from platforms like AliExpress, Temu, and Shein.
In practice, this could mean that cheap little items from China won’t be as advantageous as they are today, especially if a shipment contains several different types of products. For electronics from EU warehouses, the impact could be smaller, but the whole AliExpress shopping system is likely to change. We expect sellers to be pushed even more toward European warehouses, consolidated shipments and more transparent VAT and customs-duty payment. That’s also why, in the coming months, we’ll pay even more attention to where a product is actually shipped from and whether the final price after all fees still makes sense.
