The Vivo X90 smartphone series should also be released for the global market; a leaked poster

The company’s flagship phones for this year were introduced a few weeks ago, but so far it was only China-market versions. Specifically, it’s the trio Vivo X90, X90 Pro and X90 Pro+.

However, a new leaked poster on the social network Twitter says the series could come to the global market even this month, specifically on 31. January.

Vivo X90: Uncompromising hardware

This year’s X90 series improves on the excellent features of its predecessors and brings updated hardware, which means, for example, the processor Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The X90 and X90 Pro variants come with the Dimensity 9200 chip from Mediatek.

In every variant you’ll also find a 120 Hz OLED display, but in the top model, besides that, it also offers a curved LTPO E4 panel with a resolution of 1440p. The cherry on top is the 1″ IMX989 sensor in the flagship models X90 Pro and Pro+.

Android 13 with the latest FunTouchOS

On the software side, the phones come with the newest operating system Android 13 and the popular overlay FunTouchOS (in the Chinese version, the smartphones use a very similar overlay version called OriginOS).

Current info about the Vivo X90 series from Malaysia

A new promo material and page from Vivo in Malaysia confirm the upcoming launch of the X90 series. To your surprise, however, you won’t find the flagship Vivo X90 Pro+ on any of them. So this variant probably won’t be coming to the global market at least for now. We’ll have to wait a bit longer for it.
