The worst part of camping is the first half hour—finding the poles, reading instructions nobody reads, and realizing that one connector is missing. With the inflatable tent Xmund, you solve it elegantly: instead of a pole frame, it uses air columns that you inflate with the included pump. Under the canopy you get 6.3 m² of space for four to six people, with a two-metre height. And since it’s in a Czech warehouse, you’ll have it at home within a few days.

No poles—one person can set it up

The tent’s frame is made of air columns with a diameter of 14 cm and a 44 cm circumference, which you inflate with the included hand pump. The difference from a classic tent is mainly that you can handle it on your own without overthinking: you attach the hose, inflate, drive the pegs in, and tension the ropes. While others are still figuring out which pole goes where, you already have it up.

The columns are made of PVC and each one has a pressure relief valve. This isn’t marketing fluff—air expands on a hot day, and without the valve the chamber could burst. The same goes the other way: when the temperature drops at night, the tent will soften slightly, and in the morning it only takes a few pump strokes. You just need to account for that with inflatable tents.

Six square metres and a stand-up height

The built tent measures 300 × 210 × 200 centimeters, which provides 6.3 m² of floor area. A two-meter height at the ridge is more important than it looks— in most typical tents you can only sit or crawl on all fours, but here you can stand up, dress, and move normally. According to the manufacturer, it’s designed for four to six people; realistically, it’s a comfortable spot for four adults with luggage, or a family “cabin” with plenty of extra room.

The front door is two-layered—an outer cover and underneath it a mosquito mesh, so you can ventilate on a warm night without bugs. The side windows use the same solution, and inside you’ll also find a D-ring for hanging a lamp. The roof additionally has a heat-resistant chimney opening, through which you can route the smoke pipe to camping stoves—thanks to this, the tent can be used even outside the summer season.

A cover that handles rain and wind

The tarp is made of Oxford fabric with a PU coating and a declared water column of 2000 mm. That’s a level that easily handles a typical summer downpour and even longer light drizzle. For several days of persistent mountain rain, you’d want something more heavy-duty, but for camping, festivals, or fishing trips, it’s more than enough.

In the box you’ll find not only the tent itself, but also a hand pump, storage bag, 14 pegs, and 6 guy ropes—already tied to the tent. So you don’t need to buy anything else. The folded tent measures about 70 × 36 × 31 cm and weighs around 14 kg—easy to fit in your car, and on your back for a long hike, too.

Khaki or green—and who it’s for

You can choose from two colours: light khaki, typical for glamping tents and it heats up less, or dark green, which blends better with the surroundings and is more resistant to dirt. In both cases, the construction and equipment are identical.

If you’re camping with your family, going to festivals, or spending weekends by the water, this is exactly the kind of tent that saves you stress. If, on the other hand, you’re planning to hike along a ridge with a backpack, look elsewhere—fourteen kilograms and a pump aren’t something you carry on your back. The tent is built for car camping, and in that category it’s hard to beat for the price.
