Robust tires that can handle even tough terrain
Pro 2.0 is the successor to Engwe Engine Pro, and it shares some specifications with it, which is why you can find their comparison at the end of this article. Engine Pro 2.0 is designed for off-road adventures and is equipped with 20 x 4″ thick tires that ensure a comfortable ride and promise durability against punctures. With front and rear suspension, the e-bike also delivers an even more enjoyable riding experience.
Engine Pro 2.0 is powered by a 750 W motor located in the rear wheel hub, with a maximum power output of 1 200 W and a maximum torque of 75 Nm, which is an improvement over the previous 55 Nm of the first generation.
Top speed 25 km/h and a torque sensor
The US version of the bike reaches the maximum assisted speed of 45 km/h. The European version, which you can also find in the price box, is limited to a maximum speed of 25 km/h according to local regulations.
Both bikes are equipped with a torque sensor that ensures the motor’s power output matches your pedaling and provides a smooth ride and a better experience on uphill climbs.
Upgraded battery with capacity of 832 Wh
Even though the battery capacity in ampere-hours remains the same (16 Ah), the total energy stored in the battery has increased from 768 Wh to 832 Wh. This increase in the total energy stored was achieved by using a more efficient 52-volt system, which improved the lithium-ion battery’s ability to store and deliver energy.
Thanks to that, you can enjoy assisted riding up to 110 kilometers, or 50 kilometers on electric power only. After fully draining, the battery recharges to full capacity in about 6.5 hours.
Engine Pro 2.0 features an 8-speed rear derailleur Shimano Altus. We also like the colorful LCD display, which is easy to read even in direct sunlight and shows information such as speed and remaining battery capacity.
Sturdy frame and 3 attractive color options
The Engine Pro 2.0 e-bike frame is made from a durable aluminum alloy 6061, which combines light weight with high strength, ensuring excellent stability while riding.
As mentioned, it's available in 3 attractive color options: Space Black, Midnight Blue, and Mountain Green, where the fatbike really stands out.
Assembled in 10 seconds
With an average weight of 31.6 kg, this model is designed to be foldable. Folding it takes only 10 seconds, making the e-bike extremely convenient and easy to fit into the trunk of any car—perfect for cyclists who travel often or have limited space to store a bike in the car.
In addition, the bike features hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors, delivering excellent braking power and safety even at higher speeds and on demanding terrain. The maximum load is up to 150 kg, allowing safe use even for heavier riders.
