Solid build, easy to fold
ENGWE EP-2 Boost stands out for its robust and high-quality aluminum and carbon construction. In addition, the bike is well protected against corrosion and you’ll also like that it can be folded in just 10 seconds. Weight is capped at 30 kilograms. Total load capacity is 150 kg, and you’ll even find a practical rear rack behind the rear wheel.
Decent performance and a torque sensor
The rear wheel houses an electric motor with up to 250 W. Thanks to this, the ENGWE EP-2 Boost can reach speeds of up to 25 km/h. Of course, there’s also a clear display on the handlebars that shows you various status information about the bike. The new feature is a torque sensor with a new “BOOST” mode that instantly increases your torque. It will come in handy on steep hills.
Comfortable riding is taken care of by 20″ “fat” tires along with front suspension. The ENGWE EP-2 Boost e-bike also features a branded 7-speed derailleur Shimano, plus front and rear disc brakes. Compared to its predecessor, improvements include larger brake rotors, which have grown from the original 160 mm to 180 mm.
A proper battery for long trips
This electric bike has a hidden battery with a 13 Ah capacity (48 V / 624 Wh). The range in the assisted mode reaches up to 120 kilometers, depending on your riding style. A full battery charge takes about 6.5 hours with the included charger.
