The process is via the AliExpress mobile app, where most people shop. There are two key things: don’t use Buy now and enter the coupon only in the order summary, in the field Promo code. After you click Pay now, you won’t be able to add it.

1. Copy the code and click Use discountIn our article, copy the coupon and click the button GET DISCOUNT. The link will take you directly to the product in the AliExpress app.
2. Use Add to cart instead of Buy nowOn the product card, scroll down and tap Add to cart. Don’t use the Buy now button—you’ll skip the cart, and later you won’t have anywhere to enter the coupon. Before that, double-check the variant: the color, the version, and whether it ships from an EU warehouse.
3. Through the cart, go to CheckoutA pop-up will appear: Added to cart! — tap Check it out in it. If it disappeared, open the cart with the icon at the bottom right. In the cart, check the product and quantity, then click the red Checkout. Only the items marked with the red ring will be applied.
4. Enter your address and card, then look for Promo codeIn the order summary, first fill in the delivery address and payment card at the top. Below them there’s a line Promo code — expand it with the arrow on the right.

Apply the discount already at the order summary. After you click Pay now, you can no longer add a coupon. If Apply shows an error, the code has either expired, doesn’t apply to your items, or the order doesn’t meet the minimum amount.

The Store Coupon also goes in the same field. — a coupon from the seller itself, which isn’t always available and changes from day to day. AliExpress coupons can’t be combined, so try both and go with the one that gives you more. Coins are added automatically.

A massive battery and an ultrathin body

Even though the smartphone body houses a huge 8300 mAh battery, Honor managed to keep the thickness to just 7.76 mm. The device weighs only 193 grams including the battery. The battery supports 66 W fast charging, and the box includes an adapter with an output of up to 20V / 3.3A.

In the X9D model, Honor used its own solution called Qinghai Lake Battery, designed to deliver higher density and a longer lifespan compared to standard Li-ion batteries. In practice, this means excellent battery life on a single charge for several days. Two days without charging is a reality, and for less demanding users, it may even be three.

Big AMOLED with high brightness and 3840 Hz PWM

On the front, you get a 6,79″ AMOLED display with a resolution of 2640 x 1200 px. There’s support for 1.07 billion colors, a color gamut of 100% DCI-P3, and a maximum brightness of up to 6000 nits in APL (Average Picture Level) mode. For better eye comfort, you also have 3840 Hz PWM dimming without the risk of flicker, Circadian Night mode, or dynamic dimming. The refresh rate is 120 Hz.

The display is protected by aluminum-silicate glass, which is part of the overall rugged construction. Thanks to this, the smartphone earned an SGS certification for outstanding drop resistance from up to 2.5 meters.

Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 and Android 15 on MagicOS 9.0

At the heart of the device is the new Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, made using a 4 nm process. It has 8 cores (2x Cortex-A720 2.3 GHz / 3x Cortex-A720 2.2 GHz / 4x Cortex-A520 1.8 GHz) and Adreno A810 graphics. This chip delivers enough power for everyday tasks as well as more demanding use.

The operating system is Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0, which brings various AI features and optimizations. You can choose from memory versions of 8/256 GB, 12/256 GB, and 12/512 GB.

108 MPx main camera with OIS

The rear camera setup consists of two sensors. The main one has a resolution of 108 MP (f/1.75) and supports optical image stabilization (OIS). The second sensor is a 5 MP wide-angle lens. Maximum photo resolution is up to 12000 x 9000 px, and video recording is in 4K quality.

The front camera has a resolution of 16 MP (f/2.45) and can record video up to 2520 x 1080 px. Supported modes include portrait, filters, mirror mode, a timer, and gesture controls.

Max specs: NFC, WiFi 6 and 5G

Honor X9D doesn’t miss full 5G network support, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 with LDAC, aptX HD, or AptX Adaptive support. NFC chip for mobile payments is also included, along with accurate GPS navigation (GPS / AGPS / Glonass / BeiDou / Galileo), a USB-C port, and a digital audio output for headphones.

The package is worth highlighting with a fingerprint scanner, complete with a full set of sensors, plus the Honor Sound 7.3 audio system with stereo speakers. The smartphone also supports PC data synchronization via HonorSuite.
