A low-frame fat bike that can handle up to 150 km on a single charge is not a completely common combo. LANKELEISI KETT-8 is a new model built on a 48V Samsung battery with a 20 Ah capacity, full suspension, and a torque sensor instead of a basic cadence sensor. Thanks to the step-through frame, you can get on without lifting your leg over the saddle, while the wide 26” tires also help you go beyond asphalt.

A low frame that works even for smaller riders
The biggest change compared to classic fat bikes is the 6061-T6 aluminum alloy step-through frame. You can mount without lifting your leg over the saddle, which you’ll appreciate while commuting in everyday clothes, and also when the bike often stops in the city. The manufacturer lists a recommended rider height of about 160 to 190 cm, so the KETT-8 covers a pretty wide range of body sizes.
There are three colors to choose from — orange, green, and gray. The battery is built directly into the frame, so the bike doesn’t feel like a typical “electric” machine with an attached battery pack. It also comes with an aluminum rear rack, full fenders, and graphics with a mud-splatter design meant to suggest off-road ambitions.
A torque sensor makes a bigger difference than it sounds
The KETT-8 combines a torque sensor with a cadence sensor. While cheaper e-bikes only detect that the pedals are turning and add a constant amount of power, the torsion sensor measures how hard you’re pedaling right now. Then the assistance kicks in smoothly and feels more natural—the bike literally pushes you along instead of just starting on its own after a few pedal rotations.
The power comes from a motor with a rated output of 250 W and a peak output of up to 1130 W. The preset top speed is 25 km/h, which matches European e-bike regulations. The manufacturer says that after unlocking it can reach up to 48 km/h — but that mode is intended exclusively for private property, not for normal roads.
Samsung 48 V/20 Ah battery and a range up to 150 km
The frame features a 48V battery with a 20 Ah capacity made from Samsung 21700 cells, which equals almost one kilowatt-hour of energy. That’s where the claimed range of up to 150 km comes from in the most economical PAS1 assistance mode. It’s a value measured with a 60 kg rider on flat ground at 27 °C, so take it as the ceiling, not as everyday reality.
More important are the other modes: in PAS2 the manufacturer lists about 130 km, in PAS3 roughly 100 km, and in the strongest PAS5 still around 70 km. You can also reach about 70 km on pure throttle without pedaling; after unlocking the top speed, the range drops to around 50 km. Even the lower limit will cover typical commuting all week.
Full suspension, hydraulic brakes, and Shimano
In front, you’ll find a suspension fork with 120 mm travel with a lockout option, and at the back a so-called soft-tail frame with 105 mm of travel, plus an optional DNM air shock where you can fine-tune pressure, rebound, and compression. Combined with wide KENDA tyres 26 × 3.0″, that means solid comfort on broken asphalt as well as dirt roads.
Braking is handled by ZOOM hydraulic disc brakes with four-piston calipers and engine cut-off when you press the lever. Shifting is managed by an 8-speed Shimano set with the M310 derailleur and a 48-tooth chainring. You also get a 4-inch color LCD display with IP64 rating, a 1-inch throttle, and LED lights with turn signals and a rear brake light.
Who is KETT-8 really for?
The KETT-8 is aimed at riders who want one bike for commuting as well as weekend trips off asphalt. However, you should keep in mind that the 35.4 kg weight isn’t small—carrying it up the stairs to your apartment is a job for two, and riding it without help is difficult. The load capacity, on the other hand, is generous at 179 kg, so it can handle even a heavier rider and luggage on the rack.
Another thing to consider is the current status of the offer—the bike is in preorder and the manufacturer states shipping in mid-August. The front basket is also sold separately. If these limitations don’t bother you, for your money you get a fully suspended fatbike with a torque sensor and a Samsung battery, which is still a pretty rare combination in this class.
