The Meizu brand isn’t over by any means—on the contrary. The Chinese manufacturer is bringing another new release in the form of the flagship model Meizu 21. It will impress especially with its ultra-thin bezels, a 200 MPx camera, and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
Meizu 21: Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and 200 MPx camera
The latest flagship from the Chinese manufacturer Meizu will impress at first glance with its design. It features a very elegant metal body and thin bezels around the display, in the same color as the smartphone itself—white, purple, green, or black. And what specs does the successor to the popular Meizu 20 offer?

The front houses a 6,55″ AMOLED display with a resolution of Full HD+ and a high refresh rate of 120 Hz. This panel has a symmetrical side and top bezel thickness of only 1.74 mm. In automatic mode, it offers a maximum brightness of up to 1100 nits.

The new flagship ship offers, in terms of performance, the very best you can get at the end of 2023. Under the hood, there’s the latest eight-core chip Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, which can be paired with up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of internal storage.
FlymeOS 10.5 and 80 W fast wired charging
The back features a trio of separate lenses, each protruding from the device body, following the example of the predecessor Meizu 20. The main one is a 200 MPx sensor ISOCELL HP3 from Samsung, with a size of 1/1.4″, an f/1.69 aperture, and optical image stabilization.

It’s also complemented by a 13 MPx ultra-wide lens and a 5 MPx portrait camera. There’s also an RGB flash in a circular shape that you can switch to show a predefined color—or to distinguish individual notifications.

Other features include a water- and dust-resistant construction, even with an IP 54 certification. The integrated battery has a capacity of 4800 mAh, and the smartphone also supports fast 80 W wired charging.
Meizu comes with Android 13 and the FlymeOS 10.5 interface overlay. This software also supports Flyme Auto – an infotainment system designed for the electric SUV Lynk & Co. 08, Meizu’s parent company.

This model is the first one to support Flyme Auto software. As for electric vehicles, Meizu has announced plans to launch its own DreamCar MX model. It should hit the market in the first quarter of 2024.
