The Chinese brand OnePlus, which—similar to Oppo, Vivo, or realme—belongs to the parent company BBK Electronics, has officially introduced its new flagship smartphone under the label OnePlus 10T. It stands out in its equipment mainly for ultra-fast 150 W charging, but also for a fast 120 Hz AMOLED display and a flagship Snapdragon chipset.
OnePlus 10T: Here are the official technical specifications
The flagship smartphone OnePlus 10T is directly based on its predecessor, the tenth generation. The glass-plastic design with rounded edges is now complemented by a square rear camera module, and a display this time without any curvature.
On the front, you’ll find a large, up to 6.7″ Fluid AMOLED panel with a resolution of Full HD+ (2412 x 1080 pixels). The display offers an adaptive refresh rate up to 120 Hz (60 / 90 / 120 Hz). The panel supports 10-bit colors, HDR10+, and a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
It also features up to 1.07 billion colors and thin bezels around the display. The panel covers up to 93.4% of the front area. The resulting sharpness is 394 ppi, and this panel also supports a fast sampling rate of up to 720 Hz. The maximum brightness of this display tops out at 950 nits.
Performance is handled by a top-tier octa-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, built on a 4 nm manufacturing process from TSMC. This chip is paired with a Adreno 730 graphics unit, as well as 8 / 12 / 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 128 / 256 GB of fast UFS 3.1 internal storage.
50 MPx camera, OxygenOS 13 and 150 W SuperVOOC charging
The back features a square camera module. The main one is the Sony IMX766 sensor with a 1/1,56″ size and 50 MPx resolution. This sensor is also complemented by an 8 MPx ultra-wide-angle camera (field of view up to 119,9°) and a 2 MPx macro camera (supports 2 – 4 cm macro). The front “selfie” camera has a resolution of 32 MPx. The smartphone supports recording up to 4K video (at 30 frames per second).
As for the software, you get the Android 12 operating system, complemented by the new OxygenOS 13 graphical overlay. It brings several software improvements that will particularly delight gamers. For example, there’s the HyperBoost Gaming Engine with LSTouch technology, which helps you achieve even faster response times (software support up to 1000 Hz) with minimal latency. In addition, the overlay offers up to 20% faster app installations, 10% faster app launches, and up to 30% quicker system performance.
Other features include stereo speakers, an NFC chip, as well as an innovative eight-channel and very thin cooling solution called Cryo-velocity Vapor Chamber, specifically designed for OnePlus 10T (cooling area up to 37038.8 mm²). Excellent connectivity is handled by up to 15 antennas and 4×4 MIMO technology. Fast and stable 5G is also included, along with Bluetooth 5.2 supporting LDAC, AAC, SBC, and aptX HD codecs.
The package also includes a 4800 mAh battery (2 x 2400 mAh), with support for ultra-fast up to 150 W SuperVOOC wired charging. OnePlus has also optimized charging for the first minutes of charging. As a result, you can reach up to 28% battery capacity in just 3 minutes. The remaining capacity—enough for a full day according to the manufacturer—will be reached in about 10 minutes.
