If you’re a fan of smaller smartphones, pay attention. The popular brand OnePlus has officially confirmed the arrival of the new OnePlus 15T, which will build on last year’s phone from the same more compact category, OnePlus 13T. The company president called it on a Chinese social network Weibo as “the dream phone for fans of small displays”, suggesting that the upcoming novelty will deliver high performance in a smaller body.

Compact dimensions, but without compromises in performance
According to leaks, the OnePlus 15T should come with a 6.32-inch display, offering more comfortable screen sizes—large enough, for example, for watching videos, but still compact for convenient one-handed use.

Under the hood, the most powerful chipset for Android smartphones today should be found, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. It also powers the current flagship model OnePlus 15. That means you can expect smooth system performance, trouble-free gaming of demanding titles, and likely also long-term software support.
The mentioned screen should deliver 1.5K resolution, which represents an ideal balance between sharpness and energy efficiency. A smaller panel also naturally contributes to better ergonomics and lower device weight.
7500 mAh battery in a compact body
The biggest surprise is the alleged battery capacity. It’s said to reach up to 7500 mAh, which is an absolute extreme for a compact smartphone. For comparison, last year’s model had 6260 mAh, which was already above-average in the segment.

If this information is confirmed, OnePlus 15T could rank among the smartphones with the best battery life on the market. The combination of a modern chipset and a large battery could easily deliver two days of use without a charger—something that’s still more the exception than the rule in most cases.
For mobile photography lovers, a 50 MPx main sensor should be prepared, complemented by a 50 MPx telephoto lens with multiple optical zoom. The front will offer a 16 MPx camera for video calls and occasional “selfies”.
OnePlus 15T or the global name OnePlus 15s?
What’s interesting is that outside China, this novelty might appear under the name OnePlus 15s. For fans of compact devices, it could be one of the most interesting news stories of the year—especially if it keeps an aggressively set price-to-feature ratio.

So far, we’re dealing with an officially confirmed model without detailed specifications, but it’s already clear that OnePlus wants to reach out to a specific community of users again—those who prefer smaller devices without compromises in performance. It’s a segment that has been missing from the market for a long time.
