OPPO Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro smartphones will go on global sale. Multiple certifications confirm it

OPPO announced the Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro 5G smartphones for the domestic, Chinese market on 5 June this year. It didn’t take long before speculation started about launching sales of these models in India. In the end, Reno 4 received certification in Thailand, which also hints at sales in other foreign markets.

OPPO Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro are getting important certifications

The first certification obtained for these devices is TUV Rheinland. After that comes Bluetooth SIG, along with WiFi Alliance. It’s precisely from there that the model designations follow: CPH2089 for OPPO Reno 4 and CPH2091 for OPPO Reno 4 Pro. Thanks to these certifications, we can assume that the mentioned smartphones are set to head beyond China as well.

Both models support dual-band WiFi and the modern Bluetooth 5.1 technology. The operating system will be Android 10 with the ColorOS 7.2 user interface. According to the latest information, the global version of Reno 4 should be practically identical to the one for China.

The global Reno 4 Pro version will bring up to a 120 Hz display

The edition with the added “Pro” will be a bit different, though in a better sense. The display refresh rate will increase from 90 Hz to a great 120 Hz. The actual AMOLED screen should have a 6.43-inch diagonal and a small cut-out at the top.

The “Pro” variant will have a slightly larger 6.55-inch display with the so-called “hole-punch” for the front “selfie” camera. When it comes to performance, neither model plans to disappoint. We’re looking at a Snapdragon 765G, paired with up to 12 GB of RAM.

You’ll also like the 4 000 mAh battery, which will guarantee at least one full day of normal usage. For mobile photography lovers, a main sensor with a resolution of 48 MPx is also ready. Two additional auxiliary sensors will be working alongside it.

The front camera then offers a resolution of 32 MPx. So far, we don’t have any information for you about the launch date of these smartphones outside the Chinese market. However, they certainly look like very promising models that will find interested buyers.
