The Realme GT 2 series is coming fast. Since the current models are extremely popular and still deliver excellent performance for an attractive price, it’s no surprise there’s a lot of interest in the unannounced news. At the Innovation Forward event held on December 20, the company showed some upcoming releases that will come alongside its new flagship phones.
The Realme GT 2 series will once again arrive with a unique design
Smartphones will get an attractive new design again. This time, the manufacturer teamed up with Japanese designer Nato Fukasawa. The inspiration comes from paper and minimalism. However, the company didn’t show the actual design of the Realme phones—you could only see the box, which reveals nothing.
Environmental issues have also become an important topic lately, and tech companies are literally competing to see who thinks more about the environment when making their products. Realme is no exception here, and in the manufacturing process its carbon footprint was maximally eliminated—at least, that’s what the manufacturer claims.
The world’s first ultra-wide camera with a 150-degree field of view
A proper flagship also needs a proper camera. In this case, the main star will be a brand-new sensor that delivers an extremely wide field of view – up to 150 degrees. In practice, that means you can fit significantly more into a photo. For comparison, typical smartphone cameras have an average field of view of 84 degrees, while ultra-wide-angle lenses are around 120°.
Along with the new sensor, the company also developed an improved fisheye mode, which will make your photos even more creative and interesting.
Realme GT 2 with top-notch connectivity
Connectivity was also a major focus. The antenna system was improved for an even better signal reception, and Wi‑Fi connection plus NFC should also be better. This improved system ensures compatibility with networks in more than 150 countries worldwide—Slovakia shouldn’t be an exception.
Gamers will also be pleased, especially those who tend to hold the phone firmly with both hands while playing, which unintentionally reduces signal quality. With the new antenna system, this issue should be minimized as much as possible, which ultimately leads to lower latency. It also has a positive impact on battery life, since the smartphone doesn’t have to waste energy on stronger signal reception.
