Verdict: JIGOO V700
Our editorial rating is based on product testing.
- modern and attractive design with stylish backlighting around the display
- automatic cleaning station for emptying the dust bin in the vacuum cleaner
- lighting on the floor nozzle, so you can see dirt on the ground better
- strong suction power of 215 AW
- occasional clogging of dirt in the magnetic dust-bin area where debris is sucked into the cleaning station
- no option to charge the battery outside the cleaning station
- too glossy display, along with the ball-like element around it that’s magnetic and attracts fingerprints
Alongside many robot vacuum cleaners, the stick-vacuum segment is often pushed to the sidelines. But stick vacuum cleaners are also evolving and coming with various innovations. One of them is the new JIGOO V700, which features a charging and cleaning station that also serves as storage for accessories.
This isn’t the very first model from this brand that we’re testing, and our previous experience with Jigoo wasn’t the best. We didn’t recommend its budget model Jigoo C300 due to weak performance and an even weaker battery. Will Jigoo make good on its reputation with this promising model? We’ll take a closer look at build quality as well as the actual vacuuming. We’ll also check how long it lasts on a single charge and share our experiences from everyday use.

High-quality double packaging
More and more manufacturers ship their products in two boxes, which we always highly appreciate. The same applies here as well. The individual components are also carefully packed together with the vacuum in molded cardboard inserts, with each part having its own place.
All parts are also wrapped in foil. Overall, we rate the packaging quality as excellent.
As for what’s included in the box, we don’t have any complaints there either. Besides the vacuum itself, you’ll find plenty of accessories, including the stand, attachments, and a replacement dust bag for the cleaning station. A holder is also included, so you can place the entire vacuum together with its accessories into the stand.
Build quality and design
The JIGOO V700 vacuum cleaner is made of plastic. It’s not top-tier plastic, since some parts look rather thin, but overall the build quality is good, even though we definitely wouldn’t place it in the premium category. It’s more of a standard solution that doesn’t really stand out from the crowd in terms of quality.
However, we can’t say that about its design. The JIGOO V700 has a modern and attractive design, defined mainly by the spherical element that houses the display and colorful, stylish backlighting. Unfortunately, that element is too glossy, causing plenty of light reflections and making the display harder to read.
A distinctive design feature is also the golden framing of certain elements, such as the circular air vents.
Placement of controls and ergonomics
A vacuum cleaner without accessories weighs 1.7 kg (together with the battery). With the wand and floor nozzle, it’s 2.7 kg. It’s not much, so it’s easy and comfortable to handle.
Here we only have two control buttons: on the top side of the handle. One turns the vacuum cleaner on/off, and the other switches between different modes – ECO / Medium / Max.
On the bottom of the vacuum unit, there’s a dust container that we can easily remove by pressing a subtle button on the container. At the bottom of the container there’s also a magnetic lid through which dust is emptied into the cleaning station, which we’ll talk about in the next chapter.
From there, you can then take out the HEPA13 filter and the smaller mesh that you can rinse with water along with the dust bin.
The vacuum cleaner or the battery don’t have any charging ports, so the vacuum can only be charged in the aforementioned station.
Stand with an integrated cleaning station
We’ve already seen stick vacuums with a stand, but the JIGOO V700 takes this feature to a higher level. The stand includes a cleaning station for automatic emptying of the dust bin contents.
Before first use, of course, we have to assemble it, but it’s not complicated at all. Just connect the base with one wand and the cleaning station. We appreciate that the base also includes a weight, which increases the base’s mass, ensuring that when you insert the vacuum, the whole stand doesn’t tip over.
The cleaning station is basically a cylinder in which you’ll find a waste bag. It has a capacity of 2.5 L and sits under a plastic cover. The cover opens when you press the golden button. There’s also a full-bag indicator. You’ll also find one spare bag in the box.
After inserting the vacuum cleaner into this station, the vacuum’s container automatically empties and its contents are moved into the bag in the cleaning station. At the same time, the HEPA filter in the vacuum is blown through. If we want to start suction manually, you’ll find the button to launch this process on the top part of the cleaning station.
Unfortunately, we can’t adjust the automatic emptying in any way, so it will start every time we insert the vacuum into the station, whether we actually vacuumed or not. It also starts when we remove the battery from the vacuum and put it back in.
The suction quality is good, and the cleaning station truly empties the container nicely, even if the dirt gets wrapped around the internal grille together with hair. After several days of use, however, we noticed one drawback.
Because the magnetic lid on the bottom of the vacuum’s dust container opens during emptying, it sometimes happened that when closing it, hair and dirt got stuck in that spot. They simply didn’t have time to move into the bag in the cleaning station, and the magnetic lid closed too early. Later, we always ran another suction right after the automatic emptying, but it didn’t always help.
Suction power and vacuuming quality
Now let’s move on to the most important part: cleaning performance quality. The JIGOO V700 has a 480 W brushless motor, which delivers suction power of 215 AW, or suction pressure of 33 KPa—definitely not little.
There are 3 performance modes available: ECO, Medium, and Max. They’re differentiated by colored backlighting around the battery-capacity percentage. The ECO mode has green backlighting combined with blue, the medium mode is pink-purple, and the strongest Max mode has red backlighting.
Most of the time we vacuumed laminate floors and tiles in the apartment using the electric floor nozzle. Like other stick vacuums, it has a rotating brush head that helps collect dirt. The floor nozzle also includes lighting, which we’ve already seen from other manufacturers.
The JIGOO brand chose green light that’s bright enough for us to see dust and dirt even during a sunny day. As for vacuuming quality, it’s good.
To show the cleaning quality, we scattered salt, flour, oats, and lentils on the kitchen floor. Stick vacuums often struggle with these larger solid particles, so we were curious to see how the JIGOO V700 handles them. You can check for yourself that even such a large variety and quantity of particles doesn’t cause it any trouble.
The downside of this—just like many other stick vacuums—is that we can’t clean areas right next to walls or floor skirting boards perfectly. The issue is that the rotating brush doesn’t cover the entire width of the lower part of the floor nozzle, leaving a gap where the vacuum doesn’t pick up dirt.
Accessories
The manufacturer includes standard accessories, the same ones we’re used to from other stick vacuums. In addition to the most commonly used floor nozzle, you’ll also find another smaller, electric nozzle with a rotating brush, which is used for cleaning sofas or mattresses.
Along with the regular accessories, there’s also a narrow crevice tool and a wider brush attachment. As we mentioned earlier, you’ll also appreciate the replacement bag for the cleaning station.
Runtime on a single charge
The JIGOO V700 stick vacuum comes with a 25.2 V / 2500 mAh battery. The manufacturer claims a runtime per charge of 55 / 28 / 15 min in ECO / Medium / Max modes.
However, they don’t specify under what conditions and with which accessories the values were measured. When vacuuming laminate floors and two small rugs, with the floor nozzle we used up 16 % of the battery in ECO mode after 10 minutes of vacuuming. In Medium mode, 10 % was used after 23 minutes, and in the highest Max mode it was 57 %.
This shows that the runtime figures provided by the manufacturer aren’t unrealistic at all—in fact, they’re almost spot on.
JIGOO V700: Final Verdict
The JIGOO V700 stick vacuum offers high suction power of 215 AW / 33 KPa, so it handles basically any kind of dirt exceptionally well. One interesting feature of this vacuum is its automatic cleaning station, where a dust bag is hidden. The cleaning station also works as a charging station.
You’ll also like the backlit floor nozzle and the complete accessory set with multiple attachments. The downside is that the dust extraction in the cleaning station is a bit unfortunately designed—sometimes dirt gets stuck in the magnetic lid that opens during extraction. Occasionally, when it’s closed, not all the dirt gets extracted, and it ends up stuck in the lid.
We were pleased that the manufacturer doesn’t give customers completely unrealistic runtime numbers. On the contrary, they match our real test, and we liked that even more because in the past we had negative experiences with this brand. After our review, we can also recommend this vacuum despite the minor drawbacks.
