Extreme power 35 kW and instant response of the electric motor
The most interesting features are hidden under a minimalist body. Y-VOLT SURGE V uses a liquid-cooled synchronous LPMSM electric motor with a maximum output of up to 35 kW (47.6 hp). Even more impressive is the torque of up to 948 Nm, available practically immediately after you press the throttle. Thanks to that, it handles steep climbs, deep mud, and rocky trails without hesitation.
The motor uses a precision Resolver sensor that continuously monitors the rotor position and enables ultra-fast power control. The manufacturer claims up to 50% faster response compared to typical solutions, so there’s virtually no acceleration delay. Power delivery is also protected by IP67 certification, meaning water, mud, and sand don’t stand a chance.
Samsung battery with a range of up to 120 km
Power comes from a high-voltage battery with 97 V voltage and a 45 Ah capacity, using quality Samsung 50S cells. These are modern NMC cells with high energy density, designed also for demanding vibrations during off-road riding.
Under ideal conditions, the motorcycle can cover up to 120 kilometers. A big plus is also support for 15 A fast charging, thanks to which the battery can be fully recharged in about three hours. An intelligent power-consumption management system continuously optimizes energy use according to your riding style and the selected mode.
Low weight and an off-road-ready chassis
The construction uses a triple forged aluminum frame, helping keep the total weight down to just 95 kg. The result is an excellent power-to-weight ratio and very easy handling, even in technically demanding terrain.
Ground clearance reaches up to 300 mm, allowing you to cross rocks, roots, and deep ruts without any problems. There’s a 19-inch off-road wheel in the front and an 18-inch wheel at the rear. The chassis is also ready for air suspension, and you get robust aluminum rims with a spoke wheel build.
Top-tier brakes and modern safety features
At 35 kW of power, high-quality brakes are an absolute must. That’s why the manufacturer used Lewis hydraulic disc brakes with 4-piston calipers, which deliver strong braking performance even during aggressive riding.
The safety equipment is completed by a fall sensor that instantly cuts motor power if the bike tips over, a side-stand sensor, and automatic LED lighting switching. Of course, you get complete LED lighting, including low beam, high beam, and fog lights.
Smart functions like in modern electric vehicles
The manufacturer hasn’t forgotten about modern technology either. In front of the rider there is a 5-inch HD display that shows speed, battery status, torque distribution and other operating data. The motor can be unlocked via NFC, and there’s also support for remote OTA updates.
The owner can set individual riding modes, the intensity of recuperation, or the torque curve depending on the terrain type. There’s also a CAN Bus interface for future expansions and communication with other devices.
