Related articles about the upcoming OnePlus flagship family are something you can find on our website quite often lately. We’re learning new interesting details on a daily basis right before its launch about the OnePlus 10 series.

This year too, the popular Chinese manufacturer led by Pete Lau—well known mainly among tech enthusiasts—plans to unveil powerful flagship smartphones, the OnePlus 10 and OnePlus 10 Pro. Just recently, the OnePlus CEO officially confirmed some specs of the “Pro” model.

OnePlus 10 Pro – a powerful flagship set-up

If you prefer the very best available technology on the market, you’ll be mainly looking at the upgraded sibling labeled “Pro”. The hardware specs of this device were recently confirmed for us by OnePlus CEO Pete Lau.

On the front, we can expect an eye-pleasing AMOLED display with the option to dynamically adjust the refresh rate within 1 to 120 Hz thanks to LTPO 2.0 technology. The display diagonal hasn’t been revealed by the brand’s director yet, but leakers predict a size of 6.78″.

Besides, just like its predecessor, the display should be curved at the edges, and a centered cutout won’t be missing either for the front 32 MPx selfie camera.

The rear camera setup in cooperation with leading camera manufacturer Hasselblad will be 48 + 50 + 8 MPx. Dual optical image stabilization will then handle crisp photos and impressively stabilized video.

Unlimited performance

On the performance side, you can look forward to the very best available on the market — the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. It scored over 1 000 000 points in an AnTuTu test, and you can also find it, for example, in the new family of flagship smartphones from Xiaomi.

To show the processor in the best possible light, massive power will be complemented by LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage. The package also includes a 5000 mAh battery with support for 80 W wired, 50 W wireless, and reverse charging.

More seasoned OnePlus fans probably already know that new models come with different software overlays depending on the market they’re sold in. For the global market, it still holds true that you get clean and unmatched-fast OxygenOS in version 12; for local residents, they’ll have to make do with OPPO’s ColorOS 12 overlay.

VoLTE, VoWi-Fi (Voice Over Wi-Fi), Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, top-tier stereo speakers, or quality haptic feedback are all a must. The OnePlus 10 series will be unveiled in its home China next week, specifically on 11.1.2021. For the global market, the new lineup could arrive sometime in March or April.
