After weeks of gradually unveiling the camera and display, Oppo has nothing left to hide. The company confirmed that the Oppo Find X10 series will be unveiled in China on 22 September—the day after vivo shows off its X500 series. On its home pre-order pages, it also published official renders of all three models, their colors, and memory configurations.
Find X10 Pro Max: A square camera module and three colors
The top model gets a new rear design. The three cameras sit in a large square module, while Oppo moved the flash and additional sensors into a separate elongated island to its right. According to GSMArena, the display bezels are only 1.15 mm thick.
Find X10 Pro Max will be available in white Moon White, orange Warm Orange and gray Light Titanium. You’ll be able to choose from four configurations: 12 + 256 GB, 12 + 512 GB, 16 + 512 GB and the top-end 16 GB + 1 TB.
Its main weapon should be a trio of 200 MPx cameras — main, ultra-wide and periscope telephoto. We’ve broken down how the whole setup is put together in detail in the article about the Find X10 Pro Max cameras. The phone has also already appeared in Geekbench with the MediaTek MT6995 chip. It’s MediaTek’s first 2 nm chip and it’s expected to hit the market as the Dimensity 9600 Pro.
The base Oppo Find X10 has the thinnest bezels in the history of the series
The standard Find X10 also gets a new camera module, but a different one from the Pro Max. On the large rectangular platform, there are two separate islands — a square one with three lenses and an elongated one with the flash. There are three colors: orange Qingcheng, blue Ice Blue and gray Light Titanium. The memory versions are the same as on the Pro Max, so even the base model comes with 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage.
The website Gizmochina reminds us what Oppo has already confirmed about this model. The display bezels measure 0.99 mm on all four sides, which is a Find series record — the Find X9 had 1.15 mm and the Find X8 1.45 mm. The battery has a capacity of 8,000 mAh and, according to the manufacturer, it should keep its health even after five years of normal use. The rear cameras are built around two 200 MPx sensors — one is the main camera, the other is in the telephoto lens.
When it comes to the chip, Oppo saves. Find X10 was spotted in Geekbench with a MediaTek MT6993 chip that matches the current Dimensity 9500. According to leaks, the chip may ultimately be named Dimensity 9600M, but the CPU and GPU cores shouldn’t change.
Find X10 E: A cheaper model in two colors
We know the least about the third model. The Find X10 E resembles the current Find X9 in design — it has a square module containing three cameras and the flash. It will come in only two colors, Ice Blue and Light Titanium, and in two memory versions: 12 + 256 GB and 16 + 512 GB.
The chipset and other specs of Oppo for this model have not been revealed yet. More should become clear in the days leading up to the launch.
At the launch, Oppo Watch S2 and Enco X4 earbuds will also be showcased
Phones won’t be the only devices at the event. Oppo also updated the pages for the Watch S2. The watch will come in Misty Powder pink, Vibrant Orange orange, and Mountain Shadow Gray gray. The manufacturer hasn’t published the watch specs yet.
The Enco X4 wireless earbuds will be available in three colors: Pink Gold, Soft White, and Titanium Grey. For now, we only know how they look.
So what does that mean for us? The launch is currently only for China, but according to a leak we wrote about in the overview of global versions, Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max should also make it to the rest of the world. Oppo has not officially confirmed this yet.
However, you don’t have to wait only for the official arrival in Europe. The Find X10 series will also be available from our partner GShopper—we expect it to be the global version, meaning support for European frequency bands, Google services, and no system-language issues.
