For a few times already, information has been circulating online that Realme is planning to launch its own TV. Now this claim has also been confirmed, thanks to multiple photos taken directly from warehouses. The images show packaging with the Realme TV product name.
Boxes reveal the TV’s dimensions and features
Not long ago, the TV itself appeared on the manufacturer’s official website for India. The cardboard boxes show the 108 cm diagonal, which translates to 43 inches. We’ll also mention that there are whispers about variants with a 32-inch and a 55-inch screen diagonal.
We think that if it happens, it will be only different size variants. However, the possibility that the company will introduce more than one TV model lineup can’t be ruled out either.
On closer inspection of the package, you can also see the word “Netflix”, which suggests integration of this service into the Realme TV itself. The TV will also be characterized by the Android TV operating system and integration with Google Assistant.
Realme TV will be unveiled in just a few days
According to our data, Realme has been working on the TV for quite some time, and that’s why many people are expecting an early debut of this device. In the end, the company has officially announced the product’s presentation date, which will take place on 25 May.
The event takes place in its home country, China. Along with the TV presentation, the company will also introduce eight other devices, which we’re also looking forward to.
All we’re waiting for now is information on whether this TV will be sold outside the Chinese market as well. Realme, by the way, isn’t the only smartphone maker that has ventured into TV production.
