With its specs, Honor 30 Lite fits perfectly in the upper mid-range—yet the price still stays at a very attractive level. In today’s article, we’ll take a look at the new Lite smartphone from Honor.

A great mid-range phone

As the “Lite” label already suggests, the new model doesn’t offer flagship specs, but instead delivers solid mid-range specifications at a great price. Honor 30 Lite is an excellent choice for budget-conscious users who want the best for their money.

The Honor 30 Lite smartphone comes to the market in four fresh color options: black, white, green, and purple. That way, everyone will find a color they like.

The front of the smartphone features a 6.5″ IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution (2400 × 1080 pixels), a 20:9 aspect ratio, a screen-to-body ratio of 91.2%, and a pixel density of 405 ppi.

The display in the new model supports a refresh rate of 90 Hz, so smooth scrolling won’t be an issue. There’s also 180 Hz touch sampling. In its class, the screen clearly belongs among the better ones.

Plenty of power

The new phone is powered by a processor from the latest MediaTek Dimensity series: MediaTek Dimensity 800. The chipset delivers plenty of performance, and of course it also includes full support for 5G networks.

The smartphone will be available in three different configurations: 6/64 GB, 6/128 GB, and 8 GB of RAM with 128 GB of internal storage. These are standard figures for mid-range smartphones.

Camera setup that doesn’t stay behind

On the back, the Honor 30 Lite uses a triple-camera system. The main sensor has a 48 MPx resolution and an f/1.8 aperture. It’s paired with an 8 MPx wide-angle lens and completed by a 2 MPx macro camera.

The front notch houses a 16 MPx selfie camera. You also get 4K video support, a night mode, and 2D face unlocking. A high-capacity fingerprint sensor is located on the side of the device.

A large battery

The new smartphone is powered by a fairly large battery with a capacity of 4000 mAh. It provides up to 10 hours of display-on time, 50 hours of music playback, or 12.5 hours of phone calls.

The phone also supports fast 22.5 W charging, which can top up 53% in half an hour, and a full charge takes about 90 minutes. Even with this smartphone, we can see that fast charging support is gradually becoming the standard in the mid-range.

The smartphone runs the latest Android 10 with the Magic UI 3.1 custom interface. As is probably obvious to everyone by now, this phone also doesn’t come with Google services, but the manufacturer has included the well-known App Gallery in its device.
