Source: honor.com - The Magic9 series will come to Europe in January 2027
- Confirmed on Honor’s website in the UK and France
- So far, only Magic9 Pro Max with 12 GB RAM
- Honor hasn’t revealed Europe pricing yet
We’ll have to wait a few more months for the European version of Honor’s new flagship phone. On its official sites for the UK and France, Honor confirmed that the Honor Magic9 series will reach Europe in January 2027—about a quarter of a year after the China debut from late September. It hasn’t shared the exact date or prices yet.
For now, only Magic9 Pro Max for Europe
As Gizmochina pointed out in a report—Gizmochina—Honor’s European pages currently show only the most expensive Magic9 Pro Max. It will be offered with 12 GB RAM and 256 or 512 GB of storage, in three colors: black (Shadow Black), green (Moss Green), and silver (Glacier Silver). On the UK website, you can already sign up to receive news about the launch.
In China, aside from the Pro Max, two cheaper models are also sold — we covered them in the article about Magic9 and Magic9 Super Edition. The compact Magic9 has a 6.37-inch display and an 8,000 mAh battery, while the Super Edition offers an 11,000 mAh battery and a built-in fan. Whether any of them will also come to Europe has not been confirmed by Honor, but since the page is named after the entire series, Gizmochina assumes at least the base Magic9.
What will the Magic9 Pro Max offer
The Pro Max has two 200 MP cameras—an 1/1.28″ sensor as the main camera, plus a periscope telephoto lens with an 85 mm focal length. The colors of both are matched by German film camera maker ARRI, and the phone records video with the ARRI LogC3 curve and offers 87 ARRI Looks film profiles, which we broke down in our article about the China debut.

It’s powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. The display is 6.8″ and the China version comes with an 8,800 mAh battery. However, the battery in Europe may be smaller, because last year’s Magic8 Pro had a 6,270 mAh accumulator in our market. That one also arrived here in January—just a year earlier—and Honor asked €1,299 for the 12 + 512 GB version.
It will go up against Samsung; the China version is already on sale
Honor likely chose January on purpose, since Samsung should unveil the Galaxy S27 series in January or February 2027—so they’ll go head-to-head. European pricing will probably be revealed only at launch, and if Honor repeats last year’s approach, it could also add a discount for early buyers.
If you don’t want to wait until January, you can buy the China version of Magic9 Pro Max, which GShopper sells with delivery to Slovakia. The 12 + 256 GB version costs less than €1,000 with a discount code, and you’ll find the details—along with a coupon—in our article. Just remember to factor in the China warranty and that the European version may come in different colors and with a different battery capacity.
